It does (I think) deal with Mannu, but not the MANNU we see, I am waiting for some info to (plus some I have obtained) see if this is right.

but from Evidence brought to me from the heavens ( I truly believe that, not given to me from anyone on this plane) I think we're going to find alot of info out soon.

I while ago I was thinking in deep thought...decisions that I wanted to make, but was very afraid of. I talked to a good friend how had conversations with linda and she confirmed to me that what I wanted to do in the future would be a blessing and not to worry about it. STill I thought a lot obout it and asked for guidance.

while reading past post I came upon a thread and in it, something led me to do a search for things....well I didnt know what those THINGs were, but I found out.

MANNU WAS MANU at one time. In fact it may have started from a book in Linda possession called THE LAWS OF MANU.

now on page 999 of Gooberz she talks about the name MANNU and the spelling of the Ute Indians being called MANITOU but missing one "N":

now....the book that Linda owned was called the LAWS OF MANU...also missing one 'N' as she put in the word MANNU that we see sometimes on the front of the certain books with the lion and lamb incased in the pyramid.

Numerology...my favorite...lol...

If Linda was going to start a institute as many have said, which involved astrology and i am sure other forms of magic, the name would have to stick. And putting the name MANNU on books or seeing the INC MANNU UNLIMITED would definately stamp this into our heads.

now we know that in Star Signs Linda Met a Guru or indian decent...THE LAWS OF MANU are a book or LAWS from Indian (hindu) age.
they are like the five books of the bible that God gave to moses...these five book contain LAWS, STATUTES, and the COMMANDMENTS that GOD wanted his people to follow. Of course later when Jesus gave his life for our sins, these laws were not as important...well I take that back..they are important, but at that time...if you sinned you had to go to the LEVIs (priest) to clean you or the PEOPLES sins. there was a huge curtain, this curtain was TEN FEET THICK, and it was said that on the other side sat the ark of covenant with GODS presence coming from Heaven (if you remember the Indian Jones sagas..and the search for IT and other HOLY Relics by the Nazis) ONLY the LEVI could go on the other side of the curtain and ask for forgiveness for the peoples sins. it is said that when Jesus died, the earth open and all over the dead rose and the curtain (TEN FEET THICK) split in two! this symbolized that our connection with GOD was closer now, not having a barrier between he and us, this SHOWS that it is your S-ELF and not MAN, PRIEST or CLERGY that will lead you to the heavens of your heart.

ANYWAY...

these laws that GOD gave Moses were followed then and are still followed by die hard Jews all over the world.

Well the Law of Mannu are kinda the same thing only HIndu style. Linda had this book in her possession that I now have. its a first edition so she bought it when it first came out...which seems to be the case with many of the books she owned. the copyright is 1969...so that can tell us how long ago if not longer she was thinking of these things.

Okay, here are the reasons why I assumed Linda was in the R. Fellowship. Tell me what you think.

1. Her beliefs obviously changed drastically between writing Sun Signs and Love Signs. In Sun S, she writes happily about eating meat and wearing fur coats - by LS they have become two cardinal sins that will darken anyone's karma immeasurably. In Sun S, she advises Aquarians to be hypnotised, yet in LS, she uses hypnotism as an example of something psychically dangerous, like seances and visiting mediums. All three are complete anathema to the Rosicrucian Fellowship.

2. In LS, she mentions San Diego and places near them again and again. In particular, she mentions various friends who live in San Diego. Is it just coincidence that the Headquarters of the RF are in Oceanside, just north of San Diego?

3. The Preface to LS is practically a Rosicrucian Fellowship manifesto, with all sorts of key words like "dense body" for example. Star Signs goes through basic RF beliefs chapter by chapter. While Linda may have got her ideas from many sources, Star Signs seems almost pure Rosicrucian.

4. There are also many little hints, such as the great belief in the power of grape juice, the importance of the purity of sexuality, and the need for psychic powers to be used in a spiritual way. Also the vital importance of music and poetry to enlightenment.

5. The Preface to Star Signs discusses a mysterious stranger called Nahtan who comes to her hotel room to give her a mission, and who uses musical incantations, with his hand on her crown chakra, in order to magnetise her vibrations. This is a perfect description of Rosicrucian initiation (often said to be like being tuned with a tuning fork), and the man seems to be one of the Rosicrucian Brotherhood.

6. Linda hints several times in Star Signs that she is contact with illuminated people from Europe, far more advanced than she, and mentions Germany in particular. The Headquarters of the Rosicrucian Fellowship are in Germany.

7. Finally, she only recommends the ephemeris and table of houses published by the Rosicrucian Fellowship for use in astrology.

I realise that separately these things don't sound like much, but taken together they do seem to point to the Rosicrucians. The evidence is all circumstantial, of course.

The other thing, not even enough to be a point on its own - a sort of 7a so to speak - is that Linda hinted constantly in her work that she was privy to much greater secrets than she was able to tell us, but which we would find out for ourselves if we followed the right path. I can't imagine what she had in mind except Rosicrucianism. I have gone down the path again and again, trying to find out, and I just seem to bump into the same answer, no matter what twists and turns I take.

Anyway, I am inviting and welcoming criticism to everything I have said. Maybe there are better explantions that I am too blind or ignorant to see. In fact, sometimes I'm sure I've missed some vital clue.

now This word MANNU must have originated with the LAWS OF MANU, because in the laws of MANU their are laws that deal with eating the wrong foods (as are in the bible also) for instance on page 463 of Linda's copy it says:

"He who desires to be pure, must not eat forbidden food, and must vomit up such as he has eaten unintentionally, or quickly atone for it by (various) means of purification."

now this is only one of many Laws in this book,but it comes down to the eating habits and things that you do in everyday life...i would never had made it as a american in those days.some of these laws are unbelievable and i think that if Linda had formed this institute I think that many things in this book were going to be used...for we know that if the institute had been formed MANY would not have made it through...just like anything, college or institute, the whole class usually never makes it...only those that are willing to seek the truth and not play around.

That makes so much since and COULD be the reason she mentions on page 999 of gooberz about "UNREALIZED IMPORTANCE" BUT it doesnt end there.

I only know I own this book that she owned and hopefully i will have more info in a week or so, but its very exciting, and I think it all comes down to this....

WE CAN be MANNU if we really want to. it is obvious that no one was meant to do MANNU except for Linda or those that were really willing to SACRIFICE alot and not just go in it for profit...since the Linda institute never took off or the web site...that prooves that, BUT i dont think that its over.

Linda left many clues for us to figure out and I believe that we can figure them out if we really try, and that means no goofing around because goofing will get you no where, but TRUTH, searching for TRUTH will take you everywhere.

we probably know as much, and we don't have the books they have

I dont know if she was a Roscrucian or what ever they are called...I was just using that thread as proof that perhaps she was using The laws of Manu as a backdrop for what ever thing she was going to do.

The person I bought the book from, bought Lindas whole collection from a estate sale in Colorado. He was just walking along and he saw a estate auction...it was more than just Linda's things. He went in and said he saw books, being a book worm, he went to them and lo and behold, they were Lindas books, all her books that were in the home when she passed.

It turns out that nothing of that nature could be sold for seven years after her death. I find it SO odd that Crystal didnt get those book...I mean anyone that was going to carry the torch of Linda Goodman...well you would think she would have gave all those wonderful words of knowledge to her, instead they somehow got out into the open (and I believe fate made it so) I freaked when i saw the book of Manu in the collection and bought it for 35.00 dollars, of course it didnt cost that much when it was first bought, but it was Linda's so I really didnt care.

There were books from the Roscrucian group in the collection, but I dont know if she was a part of that.

The person that bought her estate book collection told me that he talked to someone back east that asked about the books also...i have a feeling it was someone on here since he told me exactly where they resided..The state, and that was years ago, but he said he talked to someone that said that Linda was against religions in a "NEGATE" way, but from the books that he bought and what he read (he had never read any of linda's books before, but had a urge to buy her collection) he said he didnt believe that person was correct in their assumptions of her.

And some of the titles COULD show that spark of individuality of the S-ELF, and Jesus.

Books are the key to a persons mind...if you wander into a friends home, the first thing you do (WELL I DO....LOL) is see what kinds of books they have, that will tell you a lot about the person and you will find out things you never knew before about that person and it may shine some light on them too!

For instance in linda's book collection there were two books on color. one written in 81, and the other in 65. so the chapter on color in star signs had to relate to one or both of these books.

Point being, she did her research and took what she needed (Jeet Kune Do) and what didnt work though the feeling of love to those books she wrote.

you asked if I found my Twin...not yet. but I am not looking really, I can barely take care of myself....lol.

as far as follow a strict guideline for what she might have had in mind or for us to do at a later time or ONE that I KNOW will do it when SHE is ready, i think of the saying "the student will eventually teach the teacher"

IF Jewish people can follow laws to the "T" then other can follow the instructions in Star Signs and any other guidelines in her other books or other books that your heart steers you toward in the future or past.

Linda gave 9 chapters in Star Signs, all with directions on how to reach immortality and of course it would take time...no one person has all the answers, SO MANNU would have brought great minds together to reach that level that she talked about.

NO ONE needs clubs and religions, secret societies to get anywhere, Knowledge is right in front of all three of your eyes. just go outside and lay in the grass...dont worry about the itching, it will go away...now just stare deep into the grass, down to the soil...see the others that inhabit our beautiful earth, get to know them...they will give you knowlegde just as the roscrucian group or any other group. one grass blade dancing to another and the wind trying to join the fray or what the ant did in the middle of the night as the crickets played away.

KNOWLEDGE IS OURS FOR THE TAKING AND ITS FREE!!!!

Personally, If she did join, i believe that she left or got kicked out...people say she had the most wicked temper...lol. believe I can relate to temper, mine is legendary...lol.

but just cause you dont join a institute of those statures, doesnt mean you cant buy their info or listen to what they say and take what is for that and what that is for what.

as far as I see it..they're all about NETWORKING, you scratch my back and I will scratch yours.

Jesus was against them, even if he was taught by them...he went on his OWN later. it is said that Jesus's brother Thomas is the ROCK of the church and not Peter, that when Jesus was in the east he made water come from a rock, that they loved him so much that they sent a messenger to him to ask him to come back (these are those that taught him) he sent them a message back saying he would send ONE back to him, this was Thomas his brother that is said to bear a great resemblance to him.

Who ever was the ROCK...they all went alone and stood for what they were taught and believed and loved too.

In the end no organization will teach you to be you. even here in Linda land, you can learn only so much, but from that MUCH you get so much more. people talking, singing , loving, hating, you get it all and what you take is what you get. in the end its just you alone singing and spreading what you believe or dont.

and Linda was alone, but she stuck to what she thought was true.

and all stories have always had that strength behind them. JOB all alone fighting for his love of his GOD, NOAH, Cain with his guilt of killing his brother, and these are stories, true or false they have a meaning, good or bad.

Moses was taken from his place because the first born were to be killed. he ended up in Egypt, got royalty, promoted, learned all the arts of magic and love from the egyptians and used it against them to free his people....years later

Jesus...the same thing, family runs where...to Egypt. Learns all that Moses Learned at a faster pace, took off and traveled the east learned more or opened his third eye to awaken his memory of his TWIN and came back using that knowledge against the priest who were for greedy and thinking of themselves and so on and on.

if you do a search of the word FAITH ( i did for a book i am working on), FAITH is in the bible about 47 times, but it is only seen twice in the Old Testament. while 45 times in the NEW testament. In the NEW "T" faith was gone, it needed to be brought back and JC talked about it wholly and with anything you must have some kind of faith to see it work its miracles, whether that be Lexis, Numbers, Color and music magic, etc...you have to see truth in order for it to work.

when Moses was taught the secrets (what our PEERS call secrets that they try to hide from us and charge us to find out the answers that are right in our head) people had faith in what WAS. the book talks of the meeting with the Pharasee and the dropping of Moses's staff which turned into a snake...the story didnt say 'they were astonished or surprised at what he did!" it says, two men dropped their staffs and they too turned into snakes, which were gobbled up by Moses's stick. the point...no one was surprised, because one, he learned it there in egypt, and TWO, they all had faith in the works of THE ONE that taught them all.

Later during JC's time, the area was changed, no one was really believing in these states of affairs and since the levis were in control, it was assumed a affair that they dealt with.

Remember in CANTO TWENTY, Linda states that GOd told Moses things that only he would understand and not the people because their third eyes werent open yet and they were not as enlightned (heck..the complained for forty years...lol) so if they were so blind in those days of true faith what say thee of them in JC's DAY and OUR DAY TODAY!!!

so JC learned in Egypt all he could, went to the east in "THE LOST YEARS" (Reference Mary Prophet books for that story, or Glenn Kimball, or of course OUR Kathleen Mcgowland) and was taught that which his own people had lost in their deafening for power and cowardice to survive instead of die....which is interesting to know, the Isrealites were back mothers in their day, killing everyone that GOD told them to kill, and it was not until someone figure to attack them on the sabbath, because they wouldnt fight then...that they were finally defeat...why would a GOD let that happen....thought to ponder.

but JC was taught and taught to those in the east and he had faith in all that he said.

I think Linda was like that, I dont think she was dying and thinking everything that she had believe was a lie. No, you dont go that far in life and change that quick, you go forward and assume "well maybe I did something wrong, or maybe my TWIN has something more waiting for me...this is just a street and it doesnt have a name (U2 influence..lol) and I am still walking it.

I am sure she was wondering what she was going to ask ABE when she got there.

One thing, i just purchased some books off the net (my one big book purchase of the month) and found a store outta Florence, CO that had some of Linda's books (from her estate). I wonder if this is the gentleman you speak of? Does the name, Bradley ring a bell? He had quite a few, and in fact i purchased one on Color and Music and one on Gemstone Remedies. What a co-inki-dink!! although we know there are no such things

Anyway, it was my worse nightmare that someone would buy the books and try to sell them at some higher price, but in the world of books, there is always other copies to pursue.

WE of course loved Linda and it is a Blessing to be able to own one of the books that SHE held in her hands at some time. some of the books have inscriptions in them that she wrote, for instance a copy of "your stars are numbered" in which she wrote "to the rev Sam, so that he wont steal my copy" now I think that would be nice to hold if I was Linda's child. It has to be Sam Goodman she is talking about...who else would be close enough (in the household to borrow her book...lol)

and As Kevin told me, maybe this is to bring us closer together on here, but I see A larger picture...and I will let you guys figure it out...i am tired of running my flap..lol.

I am so proud of you Angel of Hope for finding them too.

Those are my thoughts exactly. What an honor is all i can say. To have and to hold the books that taught us from and learned from Linda at one point in her earthly life. To see written words that she once stumbled upon and pondered. You know, at first i have been searching (for a few months) for an book that had been autographed by her - to be able to have and hold her actual written word. For what ever reason while searching i was lead to that site- i've never been there before. While searching for Linda Goodmans, Star Signs (for my MIL, since the one i have in my possession, was once hers and i have marked it all up). I came across a Sun Signs book (which i dont have yet) and noted next to it was, from the estate of Linda Goodman. My first thought was NO WAY. Then of course noticed that the seller had many of her estate books. Boy was my body limp. I now had a chance to own what she once read, held, etc. So being my one big book purchase of the month, i jumped at the possibility. I had ordered the "Astral Projections" unfortunatly it was sold. Which to me meant that i wasnt ready for quite a challange ATM.

Maybe ... on bringing us all closer together and the bigger picture, now is the time to find the clues she left behind.

I still have yet to sit and read your work. I will get to it as soon as time permits. I've got a rather busy work day ahead of me but i will be back soon.
