I love the teachings in Linda's books very, very much. However, there's a few things that seem a bit contradictory. This leaves me with some questions that elude me. The biggest ? I have is why if Linda discovered immortality did she age? I believe there's a link in here on why she passed on, but I don't think anyone has asked why she aged. If she did practice her technique for cell regeneration, then why did her physical self age? It also doesn't make sense to me that she suffered from diabetes, when she appeared to be very keen on health issues? Finally, if Bill/Bob was her Twin, why was she calling out to her second husband Sam when she passed on????????

Interesting. I'm not to familiar with her penchant for cell regeneration. But i intend to familiarise myself with it very soon. I could do with some of that. In fact i would say it is essential i go down that road from now on.

I have another question to add to this:

In Star Signs Linda talks about taking a 15 year period to become a vegan and so forth onto fruitarianism and whatnot. She says in the book that she was in the second phase of the three step 15 year phase. Later in the book she says she is hundreds of years old! (can't think of the exact date at this moment)

My question is, why didn't she complete this vegetarian cycle a long time ago? It has just been little things like that that have bothered me a bit. Like when she talks about being in a modern day hotel when her Guru comes and starts her on the road to 'enlightenment". If she was immortal thus far, (as she claims by being so old later in the book) then hadn't she already reached a certain high degree of enlightenment?

Just trying to understand

Love,
TMS

Planet_Soul~~~~~~~~~~I think that Linda knew some of the secrets of how to be immortal, but did not have the "ability" (at that point in her life) or was progressed enough to use what she knew....

***From what I understand from "other sources" it takes a lot of practice, and many lifetimes, to become immortal...but is not something that can be done in a day, or even one lifetime***

For example....I know "what it takes" to build a beautiful building, but also know that at this point in time I could not build it. Kinda like the same idea....

So I think Linda should not be "doubted" about what she knew...she was a message giver and introduced us to things that could eventually be done. She knew "about it" but was not able to do it herself yet, which did not surprise me in the least....

....and as for having diabetes....sure she knew, as do many diabetics how to keep that under control...but being only human, she gave in to eating things she shouldn't have (like the cookies she talks about sneaking into - in GOOBERZ)

Yes, Linda knew the "hows..." She just hadn't disciplined herself to fully participate in the "hows" yet...(does that make sense????)

I really appreciate all the doors she opened for me....but never ever considered her an immortal who had lived hundreds of years in one human body.....(but I have no doubt she will be able to do that - one day - if she so chooses)

This is my humble opinion

Love,
Rainbow

THEMYSTERYCLUB~~~~~~~~~~when Linda speaks of being hundreds of years old, I think it is more or less done tongue-in-cheek, knowing that in actuality her "soul" is at least that old, so she's telling the truth...sort of....

I had the perception that Linda believed she had indeed achieved immortality. Something to think about, thanks for your answer Rainbow. Has me considering it from another angle (:

Thanks Rainbow!

And also, I remember reading/hearing and knowing that Linda's soul is truly ancient, back even before Atlantean times.

I also think, to add on to Rainbows comment about Linda claiming to be in her 3 digits was purely to reinforce the fact that 'age' is an illusion. It's quite a good idea for us to forget our 'age' and start forgeting numbers. If someone asks you reply with " oh, 432"...or whatever...that's how I read in between the lines when she made that comment.

I believe that Linda was highly evolved enough to be immortal. But, she said herself that she was only planting the seeds so that the rest of us would "remember" our abilities. When you doubt this wisdom, that is when you are reinforcing the deathist theology that we all grew up with. She said that it was our choice to continue in this body or not. Perhaps she simply chose not to continue or....maybe she packed up, spiraled herself back to whatever age she wanted to project at the time, changed her identity and skipped to Switzerland! Maybe she is reading these posts right now....

Even though Linda might have unravelled the cell regeneration techniques, it is not quite necessesary that she was keen to practise it. I am not sure of the shy's of it, but I believe it is a personal choice.
