Hi! Last night I was watching HGTV's If These Walls could Talk, I don't know how old this program is or if this subject is on here somewhere. They profiled Lindas house in Victor,CO!!! I was shocked and amazed to tell you the truth. The house had been abandoned more or less with furnishings and contents! Manuscript in the basement, her books from the publisher,... I wish I had taped it because I was in such shock I don't remember much more. has this ever been discussed here? Anyone have input?? ------------------ ~to learn as we grow old, the secrets of our soul~ J Hayward IP: Logged |

When Janice and Rick Wood moved into her 1898 brownstone, they were astonished at what they found inside. Next, the 1700s Colonial of Maryan and Jeffry Muthersbaugh was so dilapidated they were happy just to get the layers of outrageous wallpaper down. So imagine their surprise when they discover their home has a link to old Hollywood and a mysterious safe. Then, when Robert Williams and Heike Grigsby first find pieces of glass in the attic of their 1899 Victorian in Montgomery, N.Y., they figure they have a lot of cleaning up to do. When the glass is held up to the light they discover it is not trash at all—and that is just the beginning. Finally, we return to the Muthersbaughs' house to see an expert safe-cracker open that basement safe. IP: Logged |

Hi! Again! So glad people got excited and could see the show. My computer was attacked by something and just got fixed. It's good to hear so many people stop by to chat still. Knowflakes are a special breed! Traveling through the universe at the speed of thought, Starryeyes blink, and I'm gone and back just that fast... maybe faster ;}IP: Logged |

I saw the show....but it was too darn short....I wish I could remember everything too... A beautiful black velvet dress of Linda's stands out.... The style was kind of on the order of the one Marilyn Monroe is wearing in the fameous pic where the fan blows her skit up.....halter top....bare back....(if memory serves)....'cept Marilyn's dress was white, and Linda's black.... The lady who now owns the house tried it on, and it was a perfect fit.... IP: Logged |

If they show it again, let me know...PLEASE! I missed it. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." http://consciousevolution.com/Astrology/AboutLinda.htm Linda's bedroom is lovely! By the way, I love that Moody Blues song, it's from "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" but I can't ; Oh, it's "My Song" by Mike Pinder? I always liked "You Can Never Go Home Anymore" it's awesome! No, that wasn't the one, "It's not the way that you do it when you say those things to me It's more the way you really mean it when you tell me what will be, I'm looking for someone to change my life I'm looking for a miracle in my life, and if you could see the things its done to me to lose the love I'd won." Sheesh, I can't remember the title... It must be "Emily's Song." "Between the Grey of the Morning & the Sounding of the Sea lies a land we once ??? and she's waiting there for me..." IP: Logged |

I know what your talking about--I love the Moody Blues! "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" is also a mnemonic device. I think my favorite song is probably, Gemini Dreams... (And OMGoodness, Ellynlvx, you have to watch this video! I think you'd love it more than most.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hW9fADmFrc Btw. Has anyone seen a signed Robert Brewer's Captains? I live on the river and a 'river rat' having spent a lot of leisure-time on boats (which IMO are actually ships because when a boat is big enough that you can live on it--then it technically is a ship) and I thought it would be a fun book to have since I'm surrounded by boats, ships and water. So, I got it and I hadn't expected it, but it's signed "Best Regards, Bob". Probably not. Anyways, my little one already scribbled all over it (although with pencil). I guess what really got me thinking 'maybe' is because the inscription is as unsteady as the illustrations in the book. Just wondering if anyone out there has one to compare...
