I'm new to this board, so hello and greetings from the wet and windy UK! I will try and keep this short, but while reading through the many posts here i felt compelled to write and share some of my thoughts and feelings with regards to this enigmatic and sometimes misunderstood lady!

I was introduced to Linda Goodman by my mother at the age of about 12. My mother is all too human but also doing her best to tread a higher path to better things - a good old witch. I understood some of what was being said while other bits were simply too much for my young mind. I approach it again, now a few years older (hopefully wiser!) and with some not so happy experiences behind me.

Linda Goodman was a messenger. She was handed a role which in many ways was not easy - to be given such knowledge also means having to take responsibility for that knowledge. What she has shared with the world is invaluable. Her contribution to our development is invaluable.

Linda Goodman was also human. To be human is a difficult thing - with all its frailties. These bodies! This karma! However hard we my try in any particular incarnation to repair and balance the karma of our past incarnations, we must accept somes debts must be paid. Linda, too, had karma. She was not perfect, but she was given the job of passing a message that would help ALL OF US to aim towards something BETTER.

She seems to suffer in her death 'the slings and arrows' of others wanting to somehow tarnish her, personally, maybe in the hope of diminishing the message she so beautifully gave us!

You know what?! I don't care what she suffered in her life personally, other than to feel sorrow for the suffering of a fellow human. I care about what she has left us in terms of teachings. Because she was human does NOT somehow dilute her messages of love, peace and hope. She showed us the key to our hidden understanding - something we all have
'But real Truth can be found in one place only - in every man's and woman's communication with an eternal source of hidden Knowledge within - which each individual must seek and find for himself or herself.' (Linda Goodman - Star Signs)

Whatever writings she left behind, unfinished, they do not matter. If they need to be seen they will be seen in good time. She has given us what she needed to give us in her time on this planet. For that we should all be grateful. We must now pursue our owns truths, with her help.

May her soul rest in peace.

Deep peace of the running wave to you,
Deep peace of the flowing air to you,
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you,
deep peace of the shining starts to you,
Deep peace of the gentle night to you,
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you.

mezzoelf1,

You make my point, perhaps better than I! To me, it only adds to the depth of understanding to see the humanity of a messenger. Linda was honest about her struggles and losses, and we can be too. Linda, in her human condition, was able to be a messenger, and we can too.

Thanks for your words.

Maria

Welcome!
