I recently discovered your wonderful site. Thanks to all who make this possible!

I've been reading all kinds of topics the past few days waiting to get "approved to post." Linda's Life is my favorite catagory, so I think I'll introduce myself and share my Linda story here.

Discovered Sun Signs at 16--1971. Wore it out reading about everyone I knew. It got passed around American History class more than once! Even the boys enjoyed it. Unusual in a Bible Belt farm community!

Discovered Love Signs at 24 shortyly after it was released. I was a newlywed. After reading about me and my husband, I decided we could make it!

Linda was my doorway to metaphysics. Her reading list in the back of Love Signs was the catalyst to opening the most amazing worlds to me. And I've been on my spiritual quest ever since. I shared this with Hugh Lynn Cayce once when he was in town. He grinned. Linda had gotten a reading from Edgar Cayce. Wouldn't that be fun to read?

So! I was a huge Linda fan. Each time she released another book, I couldn't get to the bookstore fast enough.

Spiraling through Star Signs was such a trip! I told my six-year-old daughter all about the word druids. Then she asked if she could draw a picture of them in my spiraling journal. They were so cute, I decided it was time to write Linda a fan letter and send her a copy of my daughter's picture.

Nearly a year later, Linda called me on Memorial day 1991. After I peeled mys-elf off the ceiling, we had a lovely conversation. Apparently, my Little One had not only signed her artwork, she had included her address and phone number! First graders are so proud of all their new writing skills!

So there's my tiny claim to fame. I was receiving catalogs from Linda's publisher when she crossed. They wrote a brief notice. It was very hard to find out anything else at the time. The internet was just getting started back then.

Recently a friend of mine decided the time was right for her to finally read Star Signs. She called me wondering what had happened to Sally. That got me Googling. And that's how I discovered all of you wonderful Knowflakes!

Linda and Richard Bach are both very dear to me. They both like to throw fact and fiction into the blender and mix them up until we don't know which is which! And that's how it should be. Most of our physical facts are illusions anyway.

After reading so many posts, it's very clear to me that we all had a sacred contract with Linda. And obviously that bond continues with each other even Now.

Namaste

Welcome

Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year....
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep. ~Robert Frost

Welcome, Skyhawk!

Your story is lovely. It's amazing how Linda's books have really impacted some people! I find it most curious that most of us are also spread out all over the world. Almost like a blossoming of sorts.

Hope to see more of you around!

I love the blossoming thought, NosiS. Linda planted some great seeds, and we're all nurturing them.

Love to All!

Skyhawk...
came and read your intro... and as the group always seems to say... WELCOME!

What courage you had reading her books in the bible belt... I actually have been called a Devil worker... because of using the Science of Astrology! What ever... everyone has their own free will... their own belief systems.

Thanks for sharing,
BiBi
