Sorry if this has already been answered, but can someone tell me, very quickly, what were Linda's references/inspirations? I've found her writing to be excellent and conversational, unlike those ones that sound as if they've been typed up by a machine. Was she able to gather her information from strictly Western astrology, or did she get help from another source like the Chinese?

She liked this book:

The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manly P. Hall

Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year....
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep. ~Robert Frost

whats up CEZZANE! Funny you should ask this, i was just talking to Bibi today about if Linda used the KAPLAN computer system, because on the old LINDAGOODMAN.net site it was said that Linda Used the KAPLAN system.

BiBi told me today that Linda did it all by hand! 30-50minutes tops! And BiBi did it another way..computer and they would be pretty exact!

Linda was amazing! I think that being self taught like she was, she just had a wealth of Knowledge at her hands. the books she had...its rare to find them nowadays..though you can with a high level of hunting i would think.

there are so many NEW books out, the old ones (and I believe the old are more valuable in lost info) just fall out of print. THank the Gods for the net..you can find anyone or anything eventually.

and if you look at the books she read or that were in her possession..lots of Spirituality in those books transferred to her heart.

thats why its best to verbally talk to a person when doing a chart or such...computer mail in are okay, but when you hear a persons voice on the phone or see their OWN WORDS typed.....its definately as you said, "CONVERSATIONAL"

Linda used the Equal House method. And, yes, she did it by hand.

Hey Thor & Randall..
Linda NEVER... repeat NEVER used the Kaplan Computer System...not to my knowledge.. and I worked with her 10-12 hours days... she didn't use any computer system... she would do all the math and do it all by hand... witnessed it sooooo many times.

Funny story... I brought over my MAC one day and we tested it... what fun... she did it by hand.. I did it on the MAC and they came out the same.. to the degree and minute!! She looked at me and said.. you can't teach an ole dog new tricks... I laughed... and said.. yeah.. well if the ole dog doesn't want to learn new things you can't... she had such a great sense of humor... god I miss her!

Who ever said Linda used the Kaplan computer system... I'd like to talk to them about that claim! I'd like to know when they witnessed Linda using this... or did they show it to Linda and she merely made a comment?? I'd have some strong interviewing questions on that claim!

First question would be.. did this source make this claim after Linda left the planet...

Linda did the charts like a purest... all by hand... even after being shown she could use a computer.
