Hello All, I've just found you so please forgive me if this has been discussed. Shortly after Linda passed her website was launched, I presume by Crystal Bush, offering classes, tarot cards and all kinds of other things. It was suddenly shut down. Does anyone know why? I'm also curious as to what Crystal, as Linda's custodian, has planned for all the unfinished works Linda referred to in her published books. In fact what is Crystal Buch actually doing with the legacy?Bu Bu IP: Logged |

Welcome! www.lindagoodman.net went out of business. Crystal subsequently left the country. You can find some remnants of the site at www.consciousevolution.com (the old LG discussion board remains). ------------------ "Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's okay though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation...so when I meet someone who's an 8-color type...I'm like, 'hey girl, magenta!' and she's like, 'oh, you mean purple!' and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, 'no - I want magenta!'" -John Mayer IP: Logged |

Very interesting. But is Crystal still the custodian of Linda's work, image, etc? I mean, who's going to keep the legacy going , the unpublished books, etc?(I'm getting a bigger box of crayons this week, Randall)Quibby IP: Logged |

There weren't any unpublished works beyond some notes that became Relationship Signs and a few scribbled pages for Twelfth Night Secrets. I think her children are in charge now. ------------------ "Life is like a box of crayons. I was in the basement of her first Cripple Creek house this weekend. There was a box way back in there that the new owners said contained books from the past owners. I did see some of the books she probably owned and read while writing some of her books. Probably even used some material as reference. I saw where she had certain text underlined in red and footnote numbers assigned, even penciled in notes in small text. Most data was about auras, and colors of auras, and various forms of Yogi in a 1903 verson (stamped from a New York publication house. Probably picked it up when she lived there. It was interesting to see the books she may have used while authoring hers. Very exciting find.IP: Logged |

A puzzle. I felt the website and its offerings were very commercial - not Linda's voice somehow. Entirely a puzzle is Linda. I appreciated her directness and honesty and willingness to express her feelings. She was real. And you know , she wrote at a time when the fun and morality police hadn't been formed yet. I can only imagine what she'd have to say about the Homeland Security Act! She was one of the first in the mainstream culture to point out our meanness to children and animals. She advocated cell regeneration and good health through natural means but was addicted to chemicals and sugar! Entirely human. You have to love her for it. IP: Logged | |
