Does anyone know the history of the portal in the basement of Linda's "slipping off the time track" house in Cripple Creek? Behind the basement door is a second door that is a physical seal with a protection and warning painted on that door, and a hasp that must be undone after you follow the words of caution on the seal door. I will post a picture of the seal door on my website later today (UFOGeek.com).IP: Logged |

The door picture is on my website now (UFOGeek.com) By-the-way, the words painted on the seal door are - To all ye fools who try to enter:Be WARNED for through my arcane knowledge I have sealed this portal with a curse! In attempts no more than thrice, use thy proper numbers in thy proper order - or you will destroy said seal and CONFRONT YOUR DOOM!IP: Logged |

Did you see what was inside that door?------------------ "Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's okay though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation...so when I meet someone who's an 8-color type...I'm like, 'hey girl, magenta!' and she's like, 'oh, you mean purple!' and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, 'no - I want magenta!'" -John Mayer IP: Logged |

I wonder if there is a hidden manuscript there somewhere?------------------ "Life is like a box of crayons. At least it wasn't 1313, as in Mockingbird Lane. ------------------ "Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. But I go marching on."--George Bernard Shaw IP: Logged |

I never saw them.------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |
