Greetings Lilypale The Saturn Seven Cycle is when a new soul takes over another living body. It occurs about every seven years to an indvidual, as this is when transiting Saturn makes a harsh aspect to one's own natal Saturn. There are more detailed threads that you can find by searching the older threads here on the site(by the way, I have NO frelling idea what category it's in--help anyone?) Nice to meet you, I personally think Canada totally rocks, despite its bad rep in the states LOve IP: Logged |

I didn't think Canada had a bad rep in the US... it really is a wonderful country (Ahem, free health care...), but I suppose it's the same here, since a lot of people see Americans as gun-toting, conservative, and egotistical (among other things)... however I don't share these views. Thanks for your answer! P.S. Guns are evil..

Hi Lilypale!! Welcome to our flakey place! There is a very good (amazing) LEXI in that forum here regarding Saturn Seven ... I will pull it to the top for ya And... don't feel bad about how some Canadians view America, or vice versa ... Nasty little unfounded remarks are usually born in insecurity, ignorance or jealousy anyway The French usually have nothing nice to say about Americans either - until they visit our country I happen to think Canada is one of the most beautiful parts of North America - in fact, in that way, we are all *Americans*, no? More, we are all *Earthlings* ! ~Princess IP: Logged |

Hi Lily! Welcome! I have only been to Canada once but I would like to visit again! I think Canadians and Americans have a lot more in common than we might think. While doing Geneology research on the net, I discovered where many of my ancestors come from, and although none of them are from Canada, what I did learn is that the folks who were coming to N. America from Europe were coming from the same places for the same reasons. Most of my ancestors were French Hugenots and German Palatines who were protestants being persecuted by the governments (monarchies) because of the way they worshiped. They were searching for a new beginning and a place to worship as they saw was right for them. Our fine N. American continent fit the bill! So in the very beginning we came from the same places and wanted the same things. Anyway, I respectfully disagree that guns are evil, and since I love my first amendment as much as I love my second, I thank our Heavenly Father (and as Linda would say, and Mother)that you have the right to say that!! I believe in that Free Will thing we are always referring to on this site, and the great thing about America and Canada is that we have the right to be conservative, gun-toting and egotistical, or not. I am saddened by our Canadian sisters and brothers' gun rights being eroded, however. I am one of many who has an evil-doer who wants to kill me and my partner, so the second amendment is even more dear to me perhaps than to others. I want to learn more about the Saturn Seven Cycle too, and have been thinking about it a lot lately. It would explain some things about why I am such a different person than I used to be. My Saturn is in Taurus, where is yours? Welcome again, in Friendship and ------------------ In Liberty, gemini5er IP: Logged |

Hello again Lilypale! I tried myself doing a site search using Saturn Seven Cycle and found that difficult so I just went looking. Randall gives a good description in the topic How does the Saturn Seven Cycle work? under the section called Uni-versal Codes. Take a gander at that, it was good for me to read it again. Grandpappy Saturn changes signs every 7.5 years approximately. Does anyone know where he is right now and when he changes signs again?

Chronicprincess, I agree with you we are all Earthlings!!!!I was thinking about the French and how they can be so snobby, but when it comes to liberty, they have been in Harmony with us many times! Re-member that General LaFayette was a true patriot and friend to America and General Washington, and that the French helped save our revolutionary butts in our fight against the British. I think I read recently that it was his wish that the American flag be flown at his gravesite for ever more. France as a gift presented to us that beautiful symbol of Freedom (Free Will) Lady Liberty. So sad that the French have recently passed a law limiting religious expression. I understand that it was aimed at cults, but basically states that if you are practicing a non-goverment recognized religion, you can be jailed. Makes me think of what China has done to the Falun Gong members. Very sad. Consider that what we talk about here on this site could be considered cult-ish to others; It is really only oc-cult, which means HIDDEN. I grew up in a very fundamentalist Christian church in which many consider astrology akin to witchcraft and satan. If only they could RE-member who placed the signs in the heavens!

Thank you everyone for your help and your warm welcomes. I'm glad to see that everybody's beliefs are respected very well here. On every other board I've posted at, there has been so many arguments and debates over people's beliefs.gemini5er, my Saturn is in Scorpio... not quite sure what that entails, though. IP: Logged |

In further discussion of Saturn, I would like to quote Noel Tyl in his second volume of The Principles and Practice of Astrology. In a breif review of the planets in the houses he gives these key words to associate with good old Pappy: "ambition, time, strategic delay; morbidity, withdrawal, conservatism."He goes on to say that.. "Difficulties are essential for growth. They are challenges to the system, usually through ambition and most often seen through Saturn. The position of Saturn is extremely important. It shows the focus of the identity's ambition." and... "Man fulfills his life through ambition in the fullness of time." So Lily, in thinking about your Saturn in Scorpio, your ambition is fulfilled through themes associated with Scorpio. It is associated with things that are occult (hidden). Any kind of problem solving as related to revealing that which is hidden...detective work or research, solving any kind of puzzle or finding hidden things. Of course this would also have to do with which house Saturn is in, and re-member that your life's ambition (drive, heart's desire)is fulfilled (made full, comes to maturity, blossoms) in the fullness of time. Were it the third house (Gemini)it might have to do with research that is published such as medical research or journalisitc efforts exposing hidden scandals or cover ups. If it were the ninth house (Sagittarius)it might have to do with studying or solving religious questions or the translation of languages or symbols, pertaining to ancient beliefs, or a hidden path (journey) to a higher thought or philosopy, especially later in life. My Saturn in Taurus rests in my tenth house which is associated with Capricorn and ruled by Pappy! I think this means that my life's ambition will be fulfilled after strategic delays in my career and problems with financial security. I think I am supposed to be patient. In addition to themes associated with Scorpio (ruled by Pluto) that are mentioned above, consider these: revenge, secrets, passion, sexuality, warfare, addiction, brutal (true) honesty, the underworld (literal and figurative), subculture, underwater, earthquakes, explosions, anything that is not easily observed or detected...perhaps also sensitivity to things not easily sensed, which could be any sense, touch, smell, taste, inutition, etc. Now what do you think Lily about your Saturn in Scorpio, and do you know what house Pappy is in in your natal chart? I encourage others to add to or make corrections to my comments. I strive to be a humble student! This is the only discussion group I have ever chosen to be involved with, precisely because of the love and respectfulness that the folks here exhibit. I love you all!
