Mythology has clues that Science may not get.Karpaka Virutcham - A Tree in Hindu Mythology said to manifest whatever you desire. In Tamil History there lived a king 'Adiyaman' who is supposed to have received the 'immortal fruit' but gave it away to a Poet, in appraisal of her skills. Bible speaks of the 'Wisdom fruit' which Adam and Eve consumed. 'An Apple a Day keeps the Doctor away' - a very ancient proverb. Fruitarianism is the previous step to not needing food at all. I think Scientists should seriously study Fruits. ------------------ You are endless galaxies, you have seen but one star - Linda Goodman, Sun Signs IP: Logged |

India has got a rich and fascinating History, Infinity.Historians have pointed out that India was one of the few countries, which was 'massive absorbent' of various cultures. Time and time again several races came and merged with India, India never bothered to go out and conquer anybody. Hindu Mythology is equally fascinating and has got quite a lot of ancient wisdom (scientific as well as spiritual) in it. I would say, if you got the opportunity, you sure must come and visit India once. There is a very unique form of energy in Hindu Temples. ------------------ You are endless galaxies, you have seen but one star - Linda Goodman, Sun Signs IP: Logged |

I can totally dig it, Raj, about India never going out and conquering anyone else! And, I do asborb everything I can from India. Another thing that I do, is any time someone here mistakenly calls the Native Americans Indians, I correct them. I tell them, "Indians are from India. Do you mean Native American?" I just will not let that mistake carry on through my children and acquaintances(sp?)! Oh, and I hope you had a Happy Birthday! I think it is stupid, Raj, that Europeans "found" America, thought is was India, and so called the Natives Indians. Dumber still that the label has persisted for so long! Not something to proud about! But, I'll say this... my own children are not confused about who is Indian, and who is Native American! And, once a year, we go to a Krisna festival, called Festival of India, where we are immeresed in their wonderful culture, music, stories, and of course, the food! LOVE Indian Curry!!!Peace, Infinity... ------------------ "The Light within me acknowledges the Light within you" IP: Logged |
