Hi everyone!

I usually only hang out in the lexi forum, but I wanted to tell you about this one.

The other day I was driving home from work and thinking about a phrase or word relating to physical immortality and cell-spiraling which I could lexi. I just could not decide which one to go for!

Then THAT SAME EVENING, there came this wonderful BBC documentary on TV about ARCTIC life. A "scientist" was speaking about these teeny-tiny little crabs which are smaller than human fingernails. The little creatures live below the 6' deep ice "peeling it" with their miniature legs and hands for remains of planctone which is their food.

Then he said something AMAZING! He said that, as the bitter arctic winter approaches, these little creatures "somehow" (that's SCIENTIST's word, he's not yet enough enlightened) shrink themselves "back" to their infant-sizes. He basically admitted the tiny crabs "screw-drive" their cells back so that they could become babies again, much smaller to more easily survive the winter!!!

How amazing! Animals are indeed more evolved than us humans.

PS Still loking for a perfect phrase to lexi!

Just goes to show how we complicate our lives by insisting on *reason* over instinct.
How hard most of us humans have to try to gain back that level of KNOWING we can do that as easily as those little creatures to which we imagine ourselves so superior.
