By the way, we haven't seen you in a while. Didn't know if you were still around or not. Happy late birthday (March 5th)! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." thanks. i've been writing poems and i tend to get stuck in one thing at a time, but i've been missing astrological thinking. i smell like dead crickets. sometimes from my solar plexus chakra, other times from my nose chakra, and sometimes it seems to come from all the pores of my face. i dont know if it has anything to do with being immortal. maybe. i'm sure it isnt noticeable to people with normal noses though. it's one of those etheric scents.IP: Logged |

it's only sometimes. i think it's karma because of a hotel i worked at that had hundreds of crickets everywhere AND the rooms had to be cleaned in 24 minutes each AND the crickets had to be out of the rooms. some of them were victims of the vacumn cleaner i was using. i consider it the worst thing i've ever done, and it may be the only thing i regret in my life. Aw, batgirl that is sweet! Although I don't think I know what crickets smell like! Do they really have a smell or is it just something that you are relating it to because of perceived karma? You know, I stayed at a place in Hawaii once that had hundreds of geckos everywhere... thay would fall from the ceiling right in front of you and then smile at you (well, not really but you get the idea ) it also had these huge bullfrogs that would eat breakfast with you and watch you swim... a little odd, but ok, they were pretty reserved and mellow. Anyway, it was a really beautiful place, an open air house, very "natural" living, but they did have to have an exterminator come once a week... gosh, I'd hate to have that job! He must have to kill tons of insects and amphibians... so I totally can see where you are coming from! Anyway, don't be too hard on yourself for that, it sounds like the awareness you gained from that experience was probably the lesson there for you, and you certainly sound like you got it! btw- are you a vegetarian? I believe it is because it's one of the family residences belonging to the McCormick spice family and from what I understand each of their homes around the world was "themed" or named after a spice... onion being the spice in this case Also, it was designed with the onion shape in mind and you can kind of see in the photos the layered onion look. One thing that is unusual which I discovered when I was there is that in the cd collection that is provided in the house, there is a copy of the Beatle's White Album. There is a song called "Glass Onion" on that cd which seems to be speaking exactly about staying at that house... Also, the home has lots of stained glass walls so 'glass onion' seems fitting. Now I have no idea if they were friends with any McCormick spice family members, but I did find out that the young McCormick girl who lived there in the 60's was quite the jet-setter and a free, creative type who apparently had lots of great times there... hmmm. Never know who stayed there in the past, but it is a worth a ponder! The house really is a beautiful retreat and has really great energy in and around it... the woman who owns it now (the previous owner's niece?), Beth McCormick, is a spiritual artist and lives in Colorado. She is a wonderful soul. IP: Logged |

For several days after my first reiki attunement I noticed an odor that only I could smell. My reiki teacher/master explained that sometimes when your're chakras get cleaned up, spinning and unclogged, the stagnant energy seems to go thru a transmutation process - physical symptoms are common as well as an odor. Maybe there's a connection between this ancient healing practice with immortality. Brightest Blessings!IP: Logged |

I would also relate it to the spinning of the chakras. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

yup, i'm veg. tried to be vegan a few times but i get stomach pain every time, and then as soon as i have some milk or butter it goes away. i dont know how i know what crickets smell like. we used to have a bunch of them in the house in morganton, nc when i lived there with my parents, and also once i found one with a broken leg in a parking lot and held it in my hand until it died. it was an interesting experience, i could see the energy moving up his body until it was only in his head. i saw the kundalini moving up as he died. he looked like a little krsna cricket. (four arms, two legs) but there is definitely a mental image of the hotel experience connected with the smell. havent noticed it lately. lately my problem is my left ear. seems to be associated with this full moon. had a clearing a few moons ago in my head. now this started in my back, moved up my neck, and turned into an ear infection. About this e-mug, how about putting a glass of water on a purpleplate? Will the energy from the plate do the same thing? And about the smell, I have smelled it but never placed it somewhere. Never thought it to be behind my ears. I was just afraid everybody else smelled it too. Always thought it was because I'm a vegan(since 9 month, vegetarian 7 years before that) love, Scorpiogirl IP: Logged |
