My question about immortality is, why is it that when I read Linda's Star Signs, there was no question in my mind about the truth of all the things she covered in the book, accept immortality? I could never doubt Reincarantion for example, even though it is not accepted by many people, or karma, or that ghosts exist. And it's not really that I don't believe it is possible, but I doubt that I will be able to achieve it. Are there people here that have lived for fifty years for example, and look like they are in their twenties?

Hey, chocoholic .... do you like ..... chocolate?

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get from Point A of being unsure to Point B of wondering how you could have ever doubted.

You said you believe in reincarnation. Can I ask you why you believe it and also how you believe it might benefit you?

Hi Grasshopper
I'm afraid I cannot fully answer your question on my belief in Reincarnation, because I never really thought of it in a way to how it would benefit me or why I believe in it, it's just something that I know on a soul level to be true and it makes the most sense to me, and that is why I don't understand if Immortality is also true, why don't I know without a doubt that it IS true?
And I realy want to believe, it's been four years now since I've read Star Signs, and it seems to me if I fail I'll be truly miserable, and I don't want to grow old,it really scares me. Everytime I get sick or something is wrong I start doubting that it is really possible to achieve immortality. And there are so many things involved, what you think, what you eat, etc, etc. Even if it is possible we don't live in such enviorment that would support this, polluted air, water, and some people just can't afford organic foods and so on. Is it really that it's only important that you know without a doubt that it is true?

Don't you dare give up on chocolate!!

Don't worry about my reincarnation question ... just let me know if you come up with an answer

There are several paths to immortality. All you have to do is compare Randall and I. But one of the keys is indeed to know. When you pray for a miracle, pray as though it has already come true.

You're finding your way ... just as we all are. Immortality is a constant every day decision, too. I know I've backslided more times than I care to count, but it's been useful for me to just take a deep breath and let it go. Immortal, yes. Human, absolutely. Therefore, I don't mind being imperfect along the way. I don't get hung up on it.

And if I've stumbled through 402 years of imperfection, you can too.

I reccomend adopting Linda's 11 steps. Not because she has the best way, or the end all way. But you are familiar with her writing and her ideas. This will give you a foundation while your own light finds its own path.

And, let me reccomend keeping a few oranges and hyacinths in your house. You never know when you may want to be giving them out as a greeting

402?
Well, Grasshopper,you are doing well
I'll try following the eleven steps in Linda's book, even though I don't particularly like the #11, as it is my birthday number and I'm gonna go and look up in the dictionary what hyniactis, sorry - hyacinths means
Currently reading Chopra's book "Ageless Body, Timeless Mind" , and doing the Tibetan Rites, by the way Randall, you were right about them making you dizzy, it happends to me too, but it is not unpleasant. Only, once I almost fainted.
Do you think that it's not a good sign? Other things that I noticed with the Rites is that I don't feel as 'hungry', or should I say, greedy. It might help me with the chocolate addiction!

As Randall said, Hyaciths are 's, and SweetPeas are, I think, peas which are very young so they taste really sweet and smell yummy Am I right?

They certainly do smell yummy, though I'm not sure how they taste ... Sweet Peas are a kind of flower ...

And while we're at it ... a few hyacinths for you.

By the way, I have finished the last two Cantos of Gooberz for our reading discussion, but I haven't had time yet to post my comments.

To answer original question--are there people here in their 50's who look like they are in their 20's???? Well I am 51 and I look like mid-30's. I chose to project the mid-30-ish look because if I project a look that is too young I will not blend easily (I have daughters ages 29, 24 and 22) I also have two grandchildren....You need to project an age that is youthful but still mature enough to be taken seriously! That is the KEY! I will also have children younger than my grandchildren because as an Immortal (really and truly regenerating) woman there is no menopause as it is experienced by the world at large (mortals)and Immortal women can have children whenever they wish to.
