oh, i just thought of icemists because she mentioned in this forum one time that mercury in scorpio has the power to make things come true.

ok, i'll share.
astro stuff, though.

can't help grinning here...one time late last year or was it early this year... i plotted planets around my chart...of a non-existent someone i'd like to have aspecting mine, synastry-wise.

well, i like aries energy so i drew the sun trine my sag sun.

then i wondered how it would be to have someone understanding my emotions...what would it be like to have one's moon in sag...?

i thought i'd like mars to be in aries where it trines my venus.

and the venus in taurus of someone i know very well trines my mars nicely... so i had to put venus in that sign in the 7th as well.

then i remembered a piscean from my past who i liked very much and so imagined the rising in pisces.

then of course, thought what were the odds against it happening? so i stopped there.

well, ok, as expected, i met someone last month with these EXACT planets, including the houses.

i had forgotten all about it, but it crept up to me one day while i was contemplating the quality of impact of this person on mine... i sat there wide-eyed and openmouthed.

one would think that all is perfect.

nope. saturn figures prominently in our charts...uhhh...his squaring my sun and venus and mine squaring his moon... i should've remembered to put it elsewhere when i had the chance.

plus my saturn sits on his ascendant and my pluto on his descendant. just how much 'heaviness' can the poor man bear?

saturn is said to be the planet of karma. and with such stressful aspects...then it was all meant to be that we met.... to resolve the connection.

sunshyne, the scorpio part of me is wishing it didn't have to post that.

the forum i mentioned was not this but "uni-versal codes". http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/000607-3.html

icemists said:
hey taj, i havn't forgotten about you...i'll come back with more on the Lords of Karma
hmm..i don't know much about scorpio rising, though i've a scorpio moon which can be quite a handful...i've also notice the mental passion thing too, what confuses me is whether mercury or the moon represents the mind...in vedic astrology, the mind is represented by the moon....which makes sense to me since the sun comes up with the ideas (creation), the moon embodies these concepts and manifest into physical reality (the ascendant)..the same way the mind images pictures....with your mercury in scorpio, you have a powerful ability to manifest anything through the spoken word and because your ascendant is also scorpio, the manifestation will be intensified since the ascendant also impresses its qualities on the mentality.....you may already know this, but don't brood, especially with your double scorpio influence, you can easily turn a thought into reality

taj replied:
i have proven in my life the power of the spoken word and its reverberating consequences. the after-effect guilt is immense, not to mention the astrological observation about the scorpionic tendency for self-destruction. whew! besides which, there are the Lords of Karma hovering. thus, i don't take knowledge of the spoken word lightly.

.........................

he's a 'karmic' mate, 'tis all. in time, we'll walk our own separate paths. our paths had to cross only because of the lessons we need to learn from each other. he doesn't know it (because we've bickered twice within a week of knowing each other = our suns both in first house ) but he is a 'teacher' to me. he's a very accomplished navigator of the material world...a financial whiz... his chart indicates it, too...

my north node is in taurus and naturally, i "learn" from him. a dream of him has verified this: he shows me a self that i should develop

talking from experience: with karmic mates, there is a feeling of a 'trust' that can only be defined as 'indefinable' like something coming out of a past that you neither know or recall anything about.

taj!!! hello
if it was physically possible i think my pupils might have expanded a centimetre bigger after reading your post lol . i'm in awe!

you magician you, i would like to know your secret for conjuring up such a feat, hint hint..lend me your magic wand

ok lets see hmmm yes i would like to place an order for a mature capricorn moon man with lots of cancer tenderness and affection on the sides, mixed with a well-aspected Pluto for mystery and intimacy, preferably served in a rich earthy taurean style with a dash of romantic leo venus for zing

so do you think the universe will send one along my way? mmm hopefully my genie in the lamp hears me

i think this trust could be a memory of the relations that occurred with this person who may be one of the most important people in that lifetime. we would not be aware of a feeling if it weren't strong which leads me to think that the presence of the emotion may be a testimony to a significant past shared together, though long-forgotten to the conscious waking self.

i'm currently reading Marie Corelli's "The Life Everlasting - A Reality of Romance" a story about two karmic soul mates with many past lives together and their desire for union, to get things right in this life so to speak. strange that it coincides with your posts.

MISSY!

you've been awfully quiet. or should that be 'sublimely' quiet? methinks i'm getting there myself...at a snail's pace.

about your order: "Be careful what you ask for, you may get it." From The Lords of Karma... remember? ;D

a capricorn moon man...defined as emotionally mature? well-grounded and consistent emotions? well, considering that your moon is (al)most perverse in its mysterious intensity, i dare say you deserve it served on a silver platter and "well-done" to boot!

a leo venus...now, why didn't i think of that? he would be tops at making you feel on top of the world! perhaps i'll have another go at getting this merc to work?

about saturn: yep...he's making me starry-eyed. eversince he opposed my sun and venus for over 2 years in transit. the more i know about him, the better i feel at home with his gifts. he's really special, this one... in a beautiful way.

i've been rereading the string over at universal codes and my eyes locked on this: An uncleared heart scar becomes pain carried into other lifetimes, that is, karma.

that would mightily explain the squares and difficult saturn (and perhaps pluto) aspects in and between charts.

indeed.
would it help if an aries moon admitted to
manipulating etheric wires to send a message that said: c'mon, icemists, read my post...while rhythmically tapping her foot in impatience at the same time?

this trust gives the connection a touch of an unusual benevolence, like a lighthouse beacon amidst rough waters. hey, i like that! that metaphor. ... there is a sense of being accepted for who or what you are, warts and all. you can really be your small self in a tension, friction, and explosion-filled relationship ...one that includes door-slamming goodbyes, cold silences, forever partings (in this incarnation at least)... but you still come out feeling undercurrents of being loved and cared for, and intuit that the other person feels it, too. if not, you hope that s/he does.

tis a bizarre twist of fate that taj gets karmic mates instead of playmates...er, i call 'em as i see 'em.

about corelli's protagonists: did they go through hypnosis?

Hi

Without wanting to interrupt your interesting conversation, I'd just like to add this: in synastry, I'm told, Jupiter aspects signify trust and hope. I know this because an astrologer looked at my bf's and my synastry chart and commented these aspects by saying "there's a huge mutual trust between us, huge hopefulness, support and optimism". My Jupiter aspects all his planets except his Jupiter, Uranus and MC. We also have a lot of Pluto (almost the same number) and Saturn aspects amongst others, all in all, a lot of aspects, so that's supposed to mean that we're connected in many many ways. And I can confirm that's true. We're inseparable, we even work together.

And we felt immediately "at home, comfortable" with each other when we met, so that is signified by planets in other person's 4th house (home) or vice versa. Furthermore, the more there are planets in the other person's angular houses (and/or his in yours), the stronger the connection.

Hope I haven't come off bragging or patronizing with this post if you already knew that, but I just wanted to share

, morgana

morgana, hi!
share anytime, whether we know or not.

hmm...don't give me ideas about jupiter aspects. you don't know where that might lead. though i have to tell you that my scorp asc squaring my jupiter in leo is giving it the 'stare' right now, you know, that famous one, the one that says..."you-don't-know-it-now-but-you-will-later-if-you-don't-watch it"

nice going there, with your 'other'. how'd you meet? if you don't mind sharing the tale.

one reason i use the term 'karmic' to explain the connection is because i sure as hell know i'll meet them again if i don't try to make things work. translated as: PEACE between us. ultimately, only peace....a clean slate... no hidden landmines that could be triggered into exploding and creating another war.

Hi Taj!

I agree about that last part, but I personally know that I'll meet a lot of the same people again I'm just working on being a lot more evolved the next time so that I don't fall into the same traps.

Well, we met through friends some 12 years ago. The night that we met, he just started the relationship with his girlfriend, while I fell madly in love with another guy (and was madly in love with him for some years). The very same night, interesting, isn't it? And I kept interrupting the new couple while they were kissing (now I know it was my subconscious telling me something ), so she thought I was very annoying, while he was very patient and kind with me. I was a bit drunk, you see Then we met after a while and he was with another girl and again we were in the same circle of friends, going out together and stuff. Now we saw more of each other and the attraction between us grew stronger everytime we met, although we couldn't do anything about it since he had a girlfriend (well, they had a very bad relationship, she put him down in front of people etc. and they were just basically going out together). We started off something then, but I didn't (and neither did he) feel it was right for it to continue. Again we didn't see each other for some time, and then we started to work at the same place, started to go out together, and he finally made a move, but my revengeful Scorp Moon turned him down because he hurt me the last time telling me he didn't love me. So, a few years passed, and when we met at a birthday party, we were obviously both ready (and he was very determined to get me this time - I'm so glad he did!), so yesterday it was our 6th anniversary. We almost immediately started to live together and we do everything together (maybe it's because we put it off for so many years that we want to make up for lost time, haha) and it's never ever boring, I can hardly believe it's been 6 years already. We have such a strong bond that we hardly need other people because we find everything we need in each other and together we can move mountains. (sorry for this last part, I got a bit carried away)

Whew, I bet now you're sorry you asked me

What about you?

Happy Anniversary!

quote:
Whew, I bet now you're sorry you asked me

i am... because of the question that follows it.

being basically a sag with mars conjunct uranus (energy and drive for freedom and independence reiterated to the max), such Qs give me hypertension. not kidding!

but i like to hear stories, happy ones, because they make me smile. i'm happy when people are happy.

quote:
We have such a strong bond that we hardly need other people because we find everything we need in each other and together we can move mountains

this made my mouth curve upwards.

when i was a child, i would ask my late grandma for tales of princes and princesses most nights ..with happy endings, naturally

i've known for a long time that i live the romantic mortal in me vicariously.
my lot on this score is que sera sera. it's not important if there is one for me or not. if there is, then we'll be together when the time is right. i cannot WILL such a thing to happen i prefer to trust the heavens on this one. (but who else is 'the heavens' but our own Self?)

that synastry-drawing of mine is the work of an overly imaginative mind at play. a what-if. one that produced a giggle and a crumpled piece of paper that found itself tossed into the wastebin. that actuality somehow fell into pattern with it is attributable to what i call a 'tuning-in' or what Azelsion calls 'synchronity'.

hi taj, morgana

i've been clammed up for a few days now, but it appears that i may have unwittingly locked myself in, oh dear, i can see taj impatiently tapping her foot again whilst she waits for this clam to magically open by itself

now taj is contemplating what she should do to open this shell, "no no 'open sesame' would not do, but i'm sure a crowbar might do the trick, if not i guess i'll just have to use this little red stick of dynamite here courtesy of mars", she thought with glee

sorry for the slow response

be back soon
