To add a personal perspective of my own:

For my sake, a sort of "path" developed (and of course continues to develop)once I took the time to do this one thing only:

Be present in all moments of my current life.

In this way, my presence forces me to question what I am doing and why at any given time, if need be. When I find myself lacking, I can then begin to determine why and what I can do about it. The rest unfolds itself naturally, and my destiny evolves as it should. That is not to say that I am always doing the right thing. Sometimes I do the wrong thing but these instances help to point me in the right direction in their own way

I know what I am saying is very simple and not anything new. The trick is to exercise persistence and diligence in the matter, as with anything else that we are trying to attain....

A very good piece of advice. Perhaps the simplicity of it will be helpful to others.(Especially since I can be pretty verbose and round-about in my writing sometimes.)

Living in the now is a very difficult thing to do if you're not used to it. We spend so much time contemplating past events and so much time pondering future plans, that we forget about the only thing we really have: now.

You words ring true..keep em coming.

Love,

daf

Thank you, daf. I myself can be quite wordy, when the mood strikes! Sometimes, I go on at such length that I begin to realize I am carrying on just to see how much farther I can go. At least I am amusing myself, if no one else. Lately my stream of thoughts has been fairly uncomplicated. Don't worry... by next week that will change again
