Hmmmm.I kinda thought that the body just regenerated itself on its own - brain and all. But I guess, without the soul, the body would be fairly lifeless anyway. I don't know. Brains are beyond me. I heard a quote about that the other day, something like "If our brains were so simple that we could understand them, we would be so simple that we wouldn't be able to" or something like that. The Mind stores all memories despite damage to the physical brain (according to Linda). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Now I think you`re on to something.... quote: It is amazing - lends some support to the theory that the brain is more of a radio for the soul, rather than the be-all and end-all of everything!
Sounds like you`ve ironed some wrinkles out and given this some thought quote: But I guess, without the soul, the body would be fairly lifeless anyway.

Can mental retardation be healed? Children who are born with down syndrome, can they be healed, and become full functioning? Is it possible? Being slightly psychic I just know they don't have to be permanently fixed that way. There is a way! We just don't know the answer yet.-StarLover IP: Logged |

I imagine at some point, it might be possible to heal those with mental retardation. For a very long time, *they* believed that a child who suffered through a traumatic childhood was doomed for life, as far as the mental issues that go along with a traumatic childhood (such as PTSD). They now know the trauma does in fact effect the brain, but with treatment (much like with any kind of infection), the brain can recover and the person can have a "normal" life. IP: Logged |
