Hiya Snowflakes We always talk about how thinking something makes it so, so I thought it would be good for us to share examples of this in our own lives. This way we can really see how true it is.One of my examples is this past year I felt like I wasn't attractive enough to my boyfriend because he looked at other girls so much. So my confidence started fading and I let him take my power. After a few months I saw my hair was thinning and I had a few forehead wrinkles and a noticeable stressed look that seemed to shape my face. I looked different somehow before and I thought to myself, wow I've become a stressed out, insecure powerless girl. Yep thats pretty unattractive, so you see what I had been so worried about started materializing. When have you guys thought of something or worried about something and made it come true? I like this thread, I kept worrying how my partner was driving. We were on a country road, on the way to where he works. And because he goes through that road everyday, he knows it well. There are alot of birds on that road, and I said be careful, don't hit one. He said I wont, and never have before. We came to a close miss, and I said, see, becareful please. He said be quiet or you'll manifest it. Before I could speak again, one hit our windshield. , I felt bad, but he did tell me to believe in him. And just KNOW that it wouldnt happen, but I had doubt, and I doubted him. And the poor bird, unfortunantly, didn't make it. I also have a positive story, its pretty amazing too, I'll share it when I've more time. ------------------ "Since everything is but an apparition, perfect in being what it is, having nothing to do with good or bad, acceptance or rejection, one may well burst out in laughter."

About the +positive+ story, which is one my partner told me about when he went to a trip to the northern part of Australia, a.k.a. Queensland! Queensland is a beautiful place, with awesome beaches and rainforests. Anyway, he said one night, after days at a spiritual retreat, he made his way home, with 3 other friends, in a very fast car. It was a narrow road, pretty much a one way track, as you have to pull over to let on-coming cars pass. But, the four of them, said prayers before they left not to hit any animals or other cars, and surrounded themselves in white light. So they were on their way, going about 80-90 km p/h and suddenly kangaroo walked out onto the road, far enough for them to stop, the kangaroo hopped out of the way, then straight away, an on-coming car, zoomed passed them at about 100km p/h. If they had been on the road, with someone driving that carelessly, they'd have been seriously injured. Anyway, the kept driving, and felt the road was clear enough to speed a bit, but another animal, not sure what, jumped out onto the road, so they pulled over, and the same thing happened again, another car zoomed straight passed them. And then, the same thing happened the THIRD time, and saved everyone from a possible accident. To think an animal came out onto the road, everytime a speeding car was approaching them on a one way track, means to be so intouch with nature, and knowing, that you can work in harmony, is a wonderful thing. ------------------ "Since everything is but an apparition, perfect in being what it is, having nothing to do with good or bad, acceptance or rejection, one may well burst out in laughter." Hey there Neo Kitty Aww thats really neat how nature protected your boyfriend and his friends like that. Thats really proof of spritual protection! Oh and ever since you brought up that spritual protection thread, I've been picturing white light all around me whenever I get scared and it calms me down. Thanks for sharing your stories Neo Kitty IP: Logged |

I've had small materializations. I think of something (normally whilst looking in a mirror) and it will happen later on that day, such as things people will say or do. Thought is definitely powerful, and I've begun to notice that the content of my mind, outwardly affects my day to day life. IP: Logged |

I've manifested some truly amazing things in my life. Maybe I'll type some of the stories out sometime. It's awesome when you realize the power of positve thinking, really does produce things in your life. Your life and everything in it, is because you thought it.------------------ "We don't see things as they are...we see things as we are". -Anais Nin IP: Logged |

This used to happen to me all the time. I'd talk about an object I wanted in my life, or a situation I was interested in experiencing -and like magic! It would appear. It got to the point where I wasn't even surprised anymore. To be honest, that really got me thinking about what was so intense about my focus back then, that made my intentions manifest so quickly and perfectly! Lately I've had alot of negativity in my life. By focusing on the past and reliving it in a way, I can recapture that enthusiasm and trust in the universe (or myself I guess). Once you get in the right frame of mind, it can happen immediately. As a small example - the preschool I work at caught on fire a few weeks ago, and I left my purse there w/ all my money. I was so thirsty, but the staff was at another center and I had no money, and didnt know anyone. So on my 15 minute break, I walked into the snack room and just thought to myself "I want a soda." The girl in there was getting one, and she reached into the machine and pulled out 2 soda's. "Thats wierd!" she said. "There's an extra soda in here! Do you want it?" It's a small example but there can be a ton of those in one day, that can really raise your spirits! I've also wished away bills, and had them "magically" work out to my benefit when I ask. I do think it's important to really need or want what you focus on.IP: Logged |

my post got me thinking some more lol. Have you ever felt compelled to give something to someone? And if you resist, you feel kind of ehhh I don't know. Unfufilled? I wonder if some poeple ask for things with pure hearts and the people around them feel pulled to give or help. I've felt that way, and I've witnessed other people kind of grudgingly give to others. I've even givin in to my own selfishness and been like, naaa. Someone else will help them. Usually I'll take on the responsibility. When I'm in a group of people, and someone walks by asking for change (not a homeless person or anything), I've noticed that someone is always "elected" to be the giver. Maybe I'm delving into psychology with this, but I wonder if we all kind of knew who was the one taking on that job, or something. Sometimes you just know when its your turn to step up!IP: Logged |

Hi, I hope u guys can show me how magic happens through thought. I have tried it, but it never worked for me. Can u show me a way to make something happen by thought either by doing a simple ritual (without candles and stuff)? Thanks Nev IP: Logged |

Yep, Linda Goodman's Star Signs. I urge most people I speak to to read it if they haven't yet, if it were compared to food it would definantly be a staple!!! ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs IP: Logged |

Nev, I'm thinking you probably saw this but in case you didnt, http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/001413.html I love this (I didn't say so on the thread, but...) because you could practically print it out on a index card and bring it anywhere. Sometimes its easy to forget how EASY it is. IP: Logged |

I missed this thread before but here's my story:-While touring Australia with my soul mate I wrote a Love poem on a seashell I had found on a beach at a place called Eden, I gave it to her on valentines day and we decided to head back to the UK and try for a baby. Whilst sat around our campfire (we both are closet pyromaniacs and love to just gaze into the flames and lose ourselves)we decided that we would like to live in a nice little cottage not in a town. A job for me that would allow me to see lots of our child and help in her upbringing. Back in the UK some weeks later we found an advert for a house that stipulated a semi retired couple for a low rent and occasional work for the landlords. We went to see the house and my partner fell over when she saw it ( it was exactly as she had imagined "our house" would be back on that beach in Oz.) neither of us are anywhere near semi retirement but we applied and got our dream house.. next a job for me ...well I am now a postman I get home at noon each day have lots of time with my family and everything is perfect.. we had a daughter who is the light of our lives exactly one year and five days after I gave my soul mate her love poem... She has kept the sea shell and we will take our daughter back to that beach at Eden one day and explain how this is where it all began...... ------------------ quote: All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We're all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death. Life is just a dream. And we are the imagination of ourselves. Bill Hicks.

Oh when I was in my teens/20s I used to have what I thought was a pipe dream.......I would see myself in an old white house, with long hair and long dresses, living near the sea, happily married with a child and cats.......not working for others, but myself.....doing music, having friends who were artists, musicians, psychics.....me doing healing and magic....... And all of that came true.........thanks be to my unerring faith and trust IP: Logged |
