"The scent of a rose" Yes if I meditated on it I could probably describe it.So immortality is a subtle thing, hard to describe and hard to attain? As for earlier postings regarding "Star signs", No I have yet to read it for I stumbled upon this thread by chance during my daily searches of Google and Avatar for information on immortality. SO basically what I ask you is, what is implied in the "change" itself? How would my body change, and my spiritual self? What will happen as I "Beleive" I am immortal? IP: Logged |

My point has nothing to do with my ability to describe. Rather I encourage you to meditate and describe the scent of roses and see what you find along the way.------------------ "The reason why birds can fly and man cannot is simply that they have perfect faith; for to have faith is to have wings." ~JM Barrie IP: Logged |

26 T said: tracy , BELIEVE also contains BE and LIVE. I think Believe contains ALL those words because it truly can be such a mixture of all those things. And you said Tracy: Although the word BELIEVE also contains the wods LIVE EVIL LIE, it can't be that negative if people use the belief of the word BELIEVE every day to ordain and manifest miracles. I think she meant she has come to realize herself that it's not negative, as she once thought, for the former reasons. Grasshopper, it is not having the ability, rather what you find? I may understand, with a little more meditation...

Fascinaturu,People explaining it to you wont "get you there". No one can carry you, or talk you to where you want to be. I gave you some leads and you dont seem interested in them. The universe is giving you some clues, but you just want people to tell you what to do. There is knowledge to be gained from others, yes, but ultimately you have to find it within. A responsible person doesnt give such advice, or certain opinions they might hold to every person that walks by wanting it. They know when not to speak, or get in someone elses way. What is right for one might not be for another. You wont find any of the answers you are looking for with the approach you are taking now. Take a breather. Stop, look. Ask and it is given. Open your eyes. Dont run frantically around looking for the answers. Theyre right under your nose. Be still and listen. Stop and smell the roses. neo, I know what she meant. We were talking about the word LIE and also finding the words NO and NOT in certain words in another string. That's where that came from. IP: Logged |

Hi 26Taurus, I'm glad you understood what I meant, I just didn't want to sound so negative since my last post was. Im glad that everything i leave out for people to ponder (ROPE like thread is in ponder) is being looked into. It's so much more interesting when theres a little more room to discover right?IP: Logged |

May I ask you people something..As immortal beings, have you had very powerful magickal experiences or Spiritual encounters? I ask because It has always helped me to Uncover my personal truths by hearing the experiences of others.. As stated above.. Everyone has different things that work for them.. SO the mroe I know from other people the more I can find out within myself.. Intuitively. IP: Logged |

When I first read Star Signs, I instantly fell in love with it because it was like finding an old friend who felt the same about so many things I had always been made to feel "crazy" about believing. When I got to the section on immortality and health, it wa magic. I have always known that you can stay alive and healthy as long as you want. Most people are too scared to know that the only one who controls their life force is THEMSELVES. People get sick, they get diseases, but they never take any accountability for it. They blame God, or the weather, etc. It's all "mind over matter". Since my validation, I haven't been sick in any way. No flu, no colds, etc. Everyone will get down once in a while...it's hard to be mentally 100% all the time...but I have to say it's all about KNOWING.All you can do is live your life as happily and healthfully as possible, and the results will follow. Philbird, How di I know I am not immortal, Well because I have been of ill health for a long time. And if I were immortal this would not be an issue....I do not feel different in any way.. I feel ALive and Mortal.. And frail.. As all mortals feel. As for you Red Goddess... WHat do you mean by "validation"? COuld you please explain? IP: Logged |

Nothing may harm you without your consent. Life is often easier while in a state of healthiness. Get well soon. Don't focus on the disease, rather focus on what is good, such as your mind. You are what you love. I think I levitated once, but I cant be too sure though. Maybe I just couldn't feel my body. Soon after choosing the path to vegetarianism I felt better, clearer thinking.I dont get sick any more either. How could I when I won't even die. The validation comes from within. Find reasons to back up your belief. If you did'nt kill- would you die, or feel the need to ? (guilt seeking punishment?)

Monad sayd: "If you did'nt kill- would you die, or feel the need to ? (guilt seeking punishment)"Whether you are Vegitarian or Vegan or a plain carnivore.. you stil Absorb the life of another being to sustain your own. In other words.. If you are Vegitarian not to kill anything, you are lying to yourself, the plant died to make you live. Which brings me to this question.. If a being is immortal and still needs to eat to live, Does it make it "evil" or wrong to be immortal since this immortal being would be eating off the life of other beings to live, essentially' Forever? (By the way, I do not beleive in the concepts of good and evil, I was just wondering why some people calling themselves "immortalists" Boastes the Use of a Vegan or Vegitarian Diet as being a "MUST" for immortality.) So basically, WHy couldn't I eat meat? Or plants? Or whatever I would Ever feel like? And if a being is immortal shouldn't this being not have to eat for they would not die, And if they do eat they would drain the resources for the less fortunate (Mortals in this case) Population? Hence Does this give them a natural right or place within the ecology of this planet, whether it is the Physical (Or natural) or the Spiritual ecologies? (I am not skeptic By the way, I think these questions properly answered would allow me to understand thins thing better) IP: Logged |

I do like the idea of Breathtarianism but Im in love with food as much as Im in love with life... Valid point 26 T, but IMHO, flavour is a part of life...for now anyway, who knows though right? I do remember what Randall said once, "people who eat cookies are happy people", like don't deprive yourself. That's always stuck with me Randall, when I deprive myself I hear that sneaky voice, and I say 'oh what the!', and I eat one or two ------------------ "And dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality"-- Linda Goodman's Star Signs IP: Logged |

I agree neo. I'm a Taurus. We love flavor. I am not a breatharian, nor do I deprive myself. Athough I did go for 11 days without food once. Purpously. Just trying to lighten things up a bit. Apparently it didnt work. IP: Logged |
