Hello knowflakes,
Since i joined Lindaland i've entered a new chapter in my life - youthing myself by actually recapturing my youth!
The only thing i've ever been passionate about in my life is artistic roller skating. I started when i was 5 years old and trained 4 days a week, but at age 10 I was forced to quit when my parents divorced and i had to move away with my mother, reducing my practise to only 1 day a week and causing me to forfeit competition. I had always intended to take skating up again but had to wait until I was old enough to have enough independence to get myself to a rink and pay for coaching. But the older i got, the more i believed it was too late for me, i could never be good enough for competition when i'd lost at least an entire decade of practise.
Then, of course, I realised the possibility of immortality.
Just over 3 months ago I took the plunge and joined a precision team with the aim of competing at international level within the next three years.
It will be another year before i'm good enough to start competing on a national level, but I love skating so much I have a feeling it could be sooner. And I know now that the only limitations in my skating career are those I impose on myself.
I would love to hear about other people's experiences, if you've taken up an old hobby or found something else you love. I want to inspire others to do what I've done - throw caution to the wind, recapture your youth, and do what you've been meaning to do but thought you never could - you'll feel so alive!

The other question I have for all the spirallers out there is what age do you get mistaken for? I'm 21 but since seeking immortality, the most common age I've been getting mistaken for is 14!!! Even from 14 year-olds!!! Some people are even generous and say 15 or 16. I'm actually finding it detrimental because I can't be taken seriously by anyone when they think of me as an adolescent instead of an adult!
Love to everyone

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll
