Soul Talk.

“Give me freedom of the soul to attain physical immortality or give me death”.

Soul knows no logic or reason. It is a force that only strives for the ultimate goal. Logic and reason is the mind fed by sense perception. Logic and reason can get one only so far and not beyond. To go beyond, one has to throw logic and reason out of the corridors of the mind. But this does not mean that unreasonableness has to set in. When there is no reason, there is no question of unreasonableness to enter either. Reason and the faculty of reasoning is a trap that the mind sets. It is a quagmire for the creation of more concepts and drags one further into confusion and chaos. Logic and reason has parameters and boundaries. The soul on the other hand is bereft of boundaries. Soul talks in actions that stem from instincts. Logic talks in mathematical tones set in overtones of physical laws of matter. If one plus one does not make a two it makes no sense in this mathematically designed world of ours, conceived by the human mind. But it does makes sense to the soul. See it through the eyes of the soul and there is sense even in what we term as nonsense.

  • Reason judges values and terms human actions and thoughts as virtues and vice. It sets moral ethics and codes which man is to live by. Then come the religious institutions founded by man that dictates what is right and wrong and talks of punishments and rewards. They even talk of incentives as though virtue is a commercial product.

  • When one talks of values and virtues, one can be sure that it is the desire for supremacy over others that is talking. It is not the soul talking. Soul does not enumerate virtues and decide who is full of virtues, like a tank of gasoline, or who is virtue-less and devoid of gas to run their life on.

  • The desire for supremacy and the desire for acknowledgment of such supremacy is inadequacy shouting loud for recognition. Power is all there is. But it is not purchasing power. Soul force itself is that power. The same power that is in each individual in equal doses. One has to merely tap into it for a good flow at all time, every time. That is the silence of power. Any power that is loud is not power. Soul talks in whispers, gentle as the dewdrop, light as a feather and powerfully whisks away doubts that may have settled on the shelves of the mind. What is this power that is so gentle that it has the might of whisking away doubts? It is the power of love. Does love have reasons and logic attached to it? Can one reason out what love is and define it and further compartmentalize it to tuck it away in niches and corners that one so cleverly carves out? That then is not love.

  • Love knows no reason. It goes beyond the narrow confines of logic, beyond expectations and conditions, and far ahead of emotions. Love as we feel is not love that the soul talks of. Love as a non-feeling emotion that transcends every mind-made barrier is the ecstasy that soul is made of. An ecstasy that transcends the pleasure-pain principle. For, pleasure and pain are two ends of the emotional string. When the string is stretched beyond the static limitations of pleasure and pain, ecstasy is experienced.

  • This ecstasy is the communication of the soul. This is the ecstasy that the soul promises the mind. A mind which is full of apprehensions and fear, doubts and misgivings. A mind that constantly seeks proof to authenticate the messages of the soul. Proof seeking and proof-seekers search and research in order to draw a convenient conclusion to theories formulated by the mind. That which does not conclude on its own is fudged up in order to draw a safe conclusion. All this is the limitations of the mind. The soul is without such limitations. Without hierarchies and posts. Without an ascending and a descending ladder. It does not recognize doubt, as its only goal is creation. All actions are creations and all reactions are destructive. Action is the language of the soul and reaction is the language of the mind aided by sense perceptions.

  • The next time your mind goes into an argument and talks you into safe keeping based on a prior information, quiet the voice of the mind and listen to the voice of the soul. See which is stronger and act accordingly. Every action arising from the soul empowers you and a general feeling of magnitude is experienced. Continue on with such empowerment and you will have a two-way communication with the soul.

You are the beginning and the end,
The all powerful, the mightiest beings you can bend,
You are the thought and the motivation,
With which you can an idea, bring to manifestation.
You are North, South, East and West,
Within you lies the power to choose the direction best;
You are the galaxy, the universe, the sky and the seas,
Of this, your perception of yourself, and I can see.
You are love and not hate,
You determine your life and not fate,
You are the creator and the destroyer;
Of good, you are the preserver, and evil, you the slayer.
In you lies heaven and in you hell,
Choose your abode really well,
You are your own worst enemy and your own best friend;
Within your inner-self, your own needs only you can tend.

Wouldn't it be great to have "Accessing your Higher Self" carriculum K-12? We'd have Utopian society or something, with people who are self-aware. As it is most people don't even know they have that power within. They give out whatever control they have to others: doctors/drugs, media/Hollywood, psychics,Dr.Phil etc. Even on these boards I see so many people asking others to TELL them what to do about a situation they have. My heart goes out to them and I wish I could reach out and do something for them. But like Dorothy all of us have the means to go home and don't even know that. Or those who know might be afraid of loosing rational control to that incredible "irrational" power of Soul within? So they'd rather give it to something/someone tangible.
Just a thought.
