when I see a shooting star, I see that as a sign that god is watching or listening. Many times when I m together with a man and the love is flowing, a shooting star is fiering off.

I was just reading The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire by Deepak Chopra (highly, highly recommend anything by him, btw) - and he was using shooting stars as a metaphor for synchronicities (mini-miracles). He writes that shooting stars, like miracles, appear all the time - but it's only when we take the time to look for them that we really start to see them.

Just thought that was sort of relevant. Kinda.

Interestingly, the book focuses on the role of coincidences (like this one?) as messages from the Universe.

and you're right that is a nice "coincidence" although i must say, i don't beleave in them, everything is "fate"
well actually fate isn't a good word for it, but i hope you know what it means

thanks for that, you don't know how much that means

Never seen one yet.

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

I have alawys thought that Shooting stars were looking at us..waiting for us to sit and stair at them. Then one sees us and says" hey!!!! they're looking, they're looking!!! WHOOOOOOOOSHHHH and he/she shoots across the sky!

This is a great excercise. If you can get to a remote place, no city lights, just darkness, clear sky and stars. you need to have a walkman, or Ipod with you. you also need to have the Peter Gabriel album SO, you can listen to the whole thing if you want...if you have the time, but all you really need to do is listen to the song "THIS IS THE PICTURE (EXCELLENT BIRDS)" Listen to that song over and over, while you are staring at the night sky...I guarantee you will see shooting stars, but you might SEE and FIGURE something out. Its best if you are buy a lake or pond, full, lay on the beach and look up.

RECOMMEND not doing this in BEAR COUNTRY..lol.

here are the lyrics

flying birds
excellent birds
watch them fly, there they go
falling snow
excellent snow
here it comes. watch it fall

long words
excellent words
I can hear them now

this is the picture, this is the picture
this is the picture, this is the picture

I'm sitting by the window
watching the snow fall
I'm looking out
and I'm moving, turning in time
catching up. moving in
jump up! I can land on my feet. look out!

this is the picture, this is the picture
this is the picture, this is the picture

looking out. watching out
when I see the future I close my eyes
I can see it now

I see pictures of people, rising up
pictures of people, falling down
I see pictures of people
they're standing on their heads, they're ready
they're looking out, look out!
they're watching out, watch out!
they're looking out, look out!
they're watching out, watch out!

I see pictures of people
I see pictures of people

"I THINK OF MYSELF AS A HUGE FIERY COMET, A SHOOTING STAR. EVERYONE STOPS, POINTS UP AND GASP, "OH LOOK AT THAT!!!" THEN WHOOSH, AND ITS GONE...... AND THEY'LL NEVER SEE ANYTHING LIKE IT EVER AGAIN...... AND THEY WONT BE ABLE TO FORGET ME-EVER." -JIMMY MORRISON OR MR. MOJO RISIN, (HIS NAME SCRAMBLED)...STILL ALIVE AND TRAVELING..
