I'm just curious to ask, to see whether many of us have similar views, share ideas for a while. To me, immortality means transcending the cycle of karma....the world of pain and suffering where living beings use each other for their own gain- the 'savage garden'....it is realising (real-eyes-ing) that we are all One and to hurt another is like hurting yourself....this causes karma, and is part of the cycle of life and death. So, to me, becomming immortal means chaniging so many things about ourselves just to try and give out as much love and light as we can- like Linda says, even the way we speak- as sound has magickal properties, creates; anything negative has an effect. Our thoughts. Our diets. Like the book 'The Celestine Prophecy', I believe that becoming immortal is about changing our vibrational frequency, so that eventually we are able to ascend to another plain/dimension. Beautifully said, LTT! I have similar thoughts about it. And in MHOnion, it is not about regressing or spiralling yourself or cells back to another illusory age. IP: Logged |

I also believe it's about raising frequency. Linda and Celestine Prophesy were a large part of the beginning of my journey as well. 26 Taurus... when I see people write about those things, they don't sit right with me, but I don't fully understand them either. Will you explain further? IP: Logged |

I think all rituals are essentially the same ~ it's all about the intention we put behind them. So really, it's not the actual ritual- it's about thought. For me, it's making raw and living foods, that is my immortality ritual. For some others it may be "spiralling" or affirmations. I might make a herbal tonic and say this is my immortality drink. And so it is! That's just the way I see it though. For me, immortality is rising above the default program in our minds, and creating our own, with our own free will and choices. Some people who are enlightened may still choose death- but at least we know we actually have a choice!!! Physical immortality is a choice I made based upon what kind of life I want to live, and what I expect to accomplish on Earth. I definantly would need to be immortal if I were to complete all my goals and tasks I have set for myself, you know! This is a great topic LTT!

Thankyou for the FEEDback! Can you make me one of those 'tonics' Sunchild? I love health foods. Gotta get some recipes for the juicer- my son is a fussy eater but likes smoothies- want to sneek some veggies in there! I only wondered about the spiralling after I found this immortality website where a form of meditation is the technique used instead; participants seem to find that powerful... gotta go- busy mum!

SunChild, I love what you said!!! I agree that it is a very personal thing and there are no wrongs or rights in the methods one chooses to use. Hi Mystic, I dont feel comfortable sharing my thoughts on this here. But about the statement I made above, I found that spiralling to another age didnt agree with me (though spirals do play their part in my beliefs on this) Then figured out why. To me age is just a number. It doesnt exist. Another lie to keep people locked in. It's something that's false no matter what number it is. So, I didnt want to put emphasis on regressing back to another one - that is just making age Truth, in my mind. ( I also didnt want to have to deal with re-experiencing the symptoms of that age - been there done that. The past is the past. Ive learned alot.) I've come to more conclusions and what I choose to do instead is visualze myself in a constant state of renewal. In a perfect state of balance, health and youthfulness. Now and Always. The Now is all we have. IP: Logged |

I knew you were going to say that 26, well said. I've stopped thinking about age and numbers altogether, since then I think I've understood immortality so much more! IP: Logged |

All souls are immortal.Technically, I am immortal. So is everybody. I may be less enlightened. But I would prefer maintain my spiritual immortality, more important, spiritual growth throughout; I would love to experience the lessons I ought to learn, "die" as each of my "here and now" incarnation (forgive my non-native English), and be reborn. I am more interested in learning, and what I have to learn, even though it may include severe pain; they say that sometimes a soul chooses to be reborn not for his/her own sake, but for helping another soul, which I take as a possibility that any of us may encounter; at the moment, I would say that I would only consider and ultimately opt for physical immortality if that means I can help others- many others, as a physical immortal. Otherwise, I'd rather experience the common (note that I used "common" instead of "natural") cycles of life and be reborn again and again. My soul is and shall be immortal eternally. ------------------ May not be able to get back to you...appreciate your say nevertheless...D IP: Logged |

Great thoughts! I found spiraling to bring with it complications in personality changes and so forth. I agree that rituals can be anything that works for the individual. The important thing is to go through the thought transformation and crush the fallacy that death is inevitable. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." Just issues already worked through coming back and certain likes dislikes, especially related to maturity/immaturity. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things."
