I'm going to live to be 200. I'm going to zoom around on my motorcycle, and use my old lady glare (perfected by this time) on anyone who thinks ill of me. I'll stick out my tongue and have kids and grand kids and great grand kids all of whom will adore me. I am also going to have a veritable menagerie in my backyard, and **** the neighbors off to high heaven. Okay, now that's done with.

Katatonic, that's exactly what Linda was talking about in Gooberz. The very reason people don't try to bring heaven to earth is because they're in too much of a hurry to bring themselves to heaven. But as an immortal, having been reunited with one's Twin S-elf, AND having the ability to travel through time and space, one would find their heaven, exactly as they always imagined it. Because all those things mentioned right there in that story are really possible once one is sufficiently enlightened... and that's barely even a drop in the bucket. It's a microscopic water molecule! "Greater things than these shall ye do."------------------ we fought a long a bitter war I and my Twin Soul But now we walk in quiet peace With all our scattered pieces whole Together, hand in hand, full serpent circle Back into the pyramid-shaped rainbow Of tomorrow's brighter Eden Crowned by Venus with the victory of Love That did not die ... But has survived the night of selfish seeking To wake to morning's soft forgiveness And the dawn of understanding IP: Logged | |
