Physical immortality doesn't intrest me to the same degree as,say, living to be 500 years old.I believe that belief in such is the key to gaining it. The problem for me is that my actions don't support my beliefs. It takes constant self monitoring to catch those slips.
For example: For Christmas I got a new computer with windows vista, I'm used to firefox, so I installed that because it was easier.
Then I realized my reluctance to learn something new was because 'I'm not 16,in high school anymore...'
But if I am living for hundreds of years I have all the time in the world to learn and should try to stay on top of new trends.
So now I'm learning the new stuff. But this is a regular thing for me. That the idea of learning is somehow associated with the youth in high school and college. After that it seems like it's too late. How crazy!! But I almost didn't catch myself.
So what new things are you learning to keep the life you have intresting? So you want to keep living.
