hugely! although i have not come up with a failproof formula i have frequently seen the weather change for me...recently had a flood and at my lowest point just prayed...the storm broke and problem started resolving. other times its a matter of focussing on the positive...IP: Logged |

There are times that my thoughts just happen right away, as soon as I think about them. This has happened many times to me, sometimes it scares me to even think about anything. But it is nice too because I believe that when I think positive things they will always happen. IP: Logged |

oh! I agree with both of you. I've been been very good with the weather. And I moniter my thoughts the best I can because I believe they manifest. I've practiced, done experiments, and I amaze myself. But there are times it doesn't work, or it takes much much longer. And I'm not sure why?One of my experiments was while driving my car I would just have fun and imagine driving a red stick shift sporty car. One month later I had one! We drove by one for sale one day, my husband had no idea I had wanted one, and he bought it for me. I think why it happened so fast was I didn't spend any time whatsoever doubting or worrying about it. But that is so hard to do on the things you really, really want. IP: Logged |

What about pets? They are kept in a permanently infantile condition, so logically they should not age, but they do.------------------ The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; Matthew 21:42 IP: Logged |

Well, pets have no faith. And I believe it is our faith in God's promise that "greater things than this shall ye do".Although other people have their faith base on other things, they still have faith, animals do not. Or perhaps it is just the other way around. People believe they will age, their animals will age. Our world is constantly formed (I believe) by our sincerly held beliefs.
Jesus tried to get it through to people that with faith they could do anything.Too many people have faith that they can not.

maklhouf - just fyi i have a history of long lived pets. including a hamster that lived TWICE as long as her life expectancy, birds, fish, cats and dogs..oh and a horse who lived to be 22...so there may be more leeway in their life capacity than we think!also lately had the experience of "killing off" my cat, or so it felt, since i had been thinking about shedding responsibilities for more flexibility. not a conscious wish for her to die! but she did go fairly quickly after a lifetime without illness of any sort...the other one is starting to act like he might be okay if i let him room with my sister on occasion...
