A year old and in a baby chair. My mother took a photo of me and trying to get me to smile. We were at my paternal grandparents house and I remember not wanting to be strapped in that chair.I felt trapped.

Hm, my mom would always say "I brought you into this world I can take you out of it"

Randall-in response to being careful what you say around your kids. It's so true! Babies are sooo much smarter then we think. Just because they can't "speak" doesn't mean they don't understand what we are saying, and they're always watching you! I put speak in quotations because my 15 month old nephew talks up a storm but, its all "da da ta dee da da do da dee." But, boy oh boy oh boy does he talk NON-STOP. That kids got a lot to say for such a tiny monster, and he's so passionate about it.

And, in response to the OP's question-I'm 23 (very young) but my first memories were climbing out of my crib and hiding in the attic in my house. Hehehehehe. I honestly don't forget much. I remember a lot of my life and what I don't remember exactly I can still feel the experiences, the atmosphere, emotions, etc.

I agree.
