Linda advises against retiring, but there is money involved. As an immortal, will you take retirement benefits for ... ever, or will you waive your right to a pension? Interestingly, people start being offered age-related discounts from as young as fifty. IP: Logged |

...BUT there is talk in govt circles about raising retirement (soc sec) age to 70 to save money...at this point because of a long stay out of the country i will probably have to work a long time before it is worth receiving, but i always planned to work till i drop anyway -- or until i learn to manifest everything i need without working, not there yet!! There are people who hate their jobs. For them retirement is something to look forward to. And they have paid for it already, their salary is smaller than it would have been if there had not been deductions to cover their pension.IP: Logged |
