Well, my body thinks it needs coffee, or rather it was thought to need coffee. Without it I get a headache and get depressed. But truth is, it is a poison and does no body good. Meat is an addiction as well, and does no body good in the long run. Important to mention though is that if you been used to eating meat, you should wean yourself off it in steps so you do not get sick. The same as for any kind of addict. So Linda's recommendations are very wise.

if you can be immortal and still consume meat? I think so, but in time your higher s-elf will tell you to stop consuming it. After all it is dead rotten flesh from precious beings. If you want to stay alive and healthy, eat things that are alive-you are what you eat, always remember that! If you eat death, sooner or later you will be dead.

I am a vegetarian, and cutting out flesh from my diet was the best decision I ever made. I really love animals, and I can see there souls so clearly...

"Before Noah, the first ten patriarchs lived an average of 912 years. In the ten generations between Noah's son and Abraham, the average lifespan dropped to 317 years. eating flesh cut their life spans by two thirds." Gabriel Cousens

This is found in the book Spiritual Nutrition.. A very good book to read concerning diet. You can find it on Google Books free to read in most parts. here's the link, http://books.google.se/books?id=ZAA5Mxo2jZoC&pg=PT247&dq=sattvic+diet+dairy&hl=sv&sa=X&ei=cwYHT_K8FYeM4gS0scGNCA&sqi=2&ved=0CFgQ6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=sattvic%20diet%20dairy&f=false

@Delos: I do agree with you. I used to be a vegetarian for 9 plus years or so, but then I started to get sick and my body was craving chicken and seafood. I had accidentally ate pork once--someone ordered a pizza with pepperoni but it looked like a cheese pizza and I ate it, my body rebelled against it. I have a physical reaction if I start to eat beef or pork. As for chicken and seafood, my body is okay with it. I want to go back to eating a vegetarian diet, but it is a bit difficult for me right now living in the midwest where everything is meat. When people think of vegetarian they think someone who is a rabbit--all we eat is just lettuce. Highly annoying to me. What is your culinary suggestion for a vegetarian eater? I take spirulina, astaxanthin, vitamin D, sunflower lecithin, and reservatrol currently. I need to add PABA and Vitamin E to assist me with physical immortality. I'm also drinking 100% red grape juice. What supplement regimen are you taking. It is only a few days that I started the reverse spiral. Interesting enough, I was drawn to a quaint little shop that sells knick knacks and I found a necklace that looks like the sun. Later when I looked at it closely, it was a spiral. I wear it all the time now and suddenly I had an urge to read Linda's physical immortality section in Star Signs. Thanks for the book link suggestion.

I understand that you have a hard time giving up all meat, but don't stress yourself about it, when you're ready to give it up it will come naturally. At least you have thoughts about giving it up, which is more than a lot of people have .

I don't really take supplements more than multivitamins and extra calcium. SOLGAR is very good! I follow Deepak Chopra's recommendations in his book, Grow Younger Live Longer. I used to take all the vitamins that Linda recommended but just for a short time. It felt that it was too much, and I got scared that I might harm my body. Quite expensive as well.

A good book to read concerning a vegan diet is Skinny ***** by Rory Freedman. It give you a lot of information and motivation on the subject.

Very nice story with the necklace, a sign from the universe to make you start spiraling I guess. You're definitely on the right track. Good Luck

On spiritual protection, I got a great tip from Egyptian magic. When I left my flat for a long time I imagined leaving a black dog in charge of it. No break-ins or problems while I was away!

While away, I was working with my bag on the floor by my chair, and someone came up to me to say "I thought that black bag was a black dog"!
