Cancer is a horrible dis-ease, and I am not trying to downplay that fact; nor am I trying to glamorize it in any way. But the things scientists are saying about death seem to be contradicted by cancer. First, there is the Hayflick limit. This is the number of times a cell replicates before dying. This limit is supposedly fixed and static. Secondly, humans (and most other species) have death genes. Cancer defies both of these so-called constants. Yes, cancerous cells are runaway and out of control--stealing the nutrition from normal cells--but they replicate with no limit. They are, essentially, immortal. And that is something that oncology might accidently stumble upon serendipitously; in fact, they are dancing all around it without even knowing so. IP: Logged |

I`m not sure I understand what you are implying. Is it immortal cancer cells are akin to normal cells which are also immortal? Once that is dicovered, understood and replicated, the human body is then deemed immortal? ------------------ The Earth Laughs In Flowers ... R.W.Emerson IP: Logged |

Just saying that the idea of immortality is nonsensical to most scientists; however, the proof refuting two of their main aging theories are staring them right in the face...and maybe through scientific means, perpetual longevity may be achieved. But cancer cells are renegade cells, so that is immortality to the extreme. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Cancer cells defy the Hayflick limit. If we can figure out how that happens, it should be possible to turn off aging scientifically. It is probably related to the M1 and M2 genes (the death genes). ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." quote: All deaths are suicides
That quote didn't originate with Linda. I forget who said it first.

I've battled cancer. It totally sucks. And the "cure," chemo, is even worse. But if someone used it to discover a way to make people healthier, I'm all for that. IP: Logged |

Randall, you are a genius! I completely understand what you're saying. But what separates cancer cells from normal cells? IP: Logged |

They have no death gene...or it is turned off. The problem is they go renegade and steal nutrition from the rest of the body. They are somehow cut off from the intelligence of the body.IP: Logged |

I would not be surprised if a corrupt ruling power already realizes this, and directs science to pursue the destruction of these cells to deliberately hinder our immortal potential.IP: Logged |

I don't know if any of you have read this article, but it certainly applies to what you are talking about, which is the mechanics of the immortality of cancer cells - http://www.ramtha.com/newsletter/vol5/issue11/SP1.html This is my first post, and I'm glad to see that there are other physical immortals out there, for it is we who shall inherit the earth and be its caretakers during the coming 1,000 years of peace that are soon to arrive, prophesied in the Revelation and by Meher Baba. Hi Randall -Initially it looked like my reply to your post didn't go through, so I got confused and posted the same thing under new topic instead. Sorry for the mix-up. IP: Logged |
