I find that my belief in the possiblity of immortality extends not only to the physical body, but I expect everything to last forever: clothes, shoes, toys etc. But it is not accurate to describe this as new, since I had those attitudes as a child. I suppose every child believes a broken toy can magically be made whole again, but most people leave that attitude behind as they "mature".------------------ To live outside the law you must be honest. Yeah, too bad things don't have cells that regenerate. Would love to keep my sneakers forever.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Maybe that's why Toy Story was so popular. To infinity and beyond!------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |
