I have never been to a bullfight and I do not approve of them, but why do nice people want to see them? I think it helps them to really understand the processes of death, pain and decay.

I agree on people being cruel. In the olden days and even now people like to watch others being punished like severely like in hanging, flogging etc Sssiiiggghhh!!!

My parents brought me to a bullfight in Mexico when I was about 10 years old. I remember being in the arena crying and yelling at my parents, "What's wrong with you people? Why did you bring me to this? I'm probably going to need therapy now. Thanks a lot!"

Then I covered my face the whole time, except to buy a black-flocked, plaster bull from a little boy.

From what I could decipher, they cooked the bulls, served them and expected us to eat them at a feast. Needless to say, I only ate the fruit, which was mostly pineapple. The next day my tongue hurt so fookin bad. It felt like it had porcupine quills in it and it was from eating so much pineapple.

It does seem strange that these spectacles are considered OK for children to attend. To get back to my theme, what about the suffering and death of Jesus? This is often referred to as the Passion, a word we usually use in a seemingly completely different context.
