It can be challenging to remind yourself of this story sometimes.

"The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. They perform their cycles with the same mathematical precision, and they will continue to affect each thing on earth, including man, as long as the earth exists." Linda Goodman

my God Randall that was beautiful!

it reminds me of something i took to heart in a class (the only one i took in Arabic) about Sufism. it said of our relationship to God as the Sun (God) and the rays of light (us) we do not exist without Him, and he does not exist witout us we are "projections" of Him, i was shocked to learn that sufists believe that God did not order the universe to exist it simply exists as He exists..

"All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman

Only love is real and it's only through light and darkness that one can see that only love is real. God is love. Has anyone seen 'May dreams come true' with Robin Williams, the movie is basically about light and darkness and seeing that only love is real. Thanks Randall for sharing the most important thread on this site as it is the most important thread on this site as it's simple but very deep. God couldn't have wrote it any better in conversations with God. Much blessings and love.

Lots of love and hugs
Saronna

Bravo Randall, aren't you the best teaching angel I have met yet this is very very deep and meaningful because it means that if you hurt someone you are really hurting your s-elf because you are in everyone and everyone is in you and that we should turn the other cheek.
Sort of sick and tired of world wars isn't everyone by now. Have we all in the world not learned anything yet?

Had a very hurtful encounter with colleague who was under the impression I was not working fast enough and she yelled out while the boss was walking by and we both got called in the office I explained that I was with the customer and if that took too long it was because of procedures and I was doing the best I could. I was oblivious of her anger until we got called in then after explanations and such she offered an apology because the boss was angry with her shouting at me. I really feel if we collaborated on the problems without her blaming me we could have sorted it out peacefully this has been a lesson on why some wars start. My gut feeling she was jealous. Even that seems petty and destructive I honestly would never want to harm any one or thing. I feel hurt because I would never have expected that from her. Maybe we had something unresolved from another lifetime who knows only God.

The strangest part about this is I did not know the extent of her feelings of anger toward me and I felt it was not necessary to bring all this to the attention of the boss she could have just taken me aside somewhere and made it just between us and we could have sorted it out differently. This peacemaking business is not easy.
