The air around us is vital for our existence, we know it exists but cannot see it, and can only feel it if there is a breeze.
With me so far.

Ok when we step into the ocean or a river we can see and feel the effects of the water on our body.

I think that marine animals experience the same; that is they can't see the water but can feel it's effects, and when they are removed from that environment and taken into ours they can both see and feel the effects on their bodies.

What do you think?

Cheers

Methinks you are correct.

Do you think that some marine animals have the same fears about being in air, that people can have about being in water?

And we all started out as marine animals...in the ocean of the womb.

So if they don't "see" the water are they swimming in the air? Could we "fly" in water?

Does this make any sense? I could be babbling...

Finnish scientist have proven that fish can feel pain, but tue fishermen don't believe it or don't want to.

Last year the NZ government said that anyone taking crays(rocklobster) had to pierce the brain to humanely kill them as opposed to throwing them in a pot of boiling water. Alot of people thought this absurd, and riddiculed the government, you can now get prosecuted for not doing it this way.

If a fish or marine animal has been caught and then released I think it would have a phobia about that situation happening again.

As for creation, I am not going down that path there are too many contradictions regarding this matter.

Mambo.......I'm really happy to hear that the New Zealand government is doing that!

I just cringe when I think of putting lobsters in boiling water, alive!!! ...*sigh*..

I hope New Zealand's humane treatment of these creatures, sets an example, for other countries (including my own..the USA). Then maybe we can treat our lobsters in a more humane fashion, as well....

Luv,
Rainbow~

I do not think they do have a "fear" of being on land as we do have a "fear" of water. Just because everything except humans JUST ARE whereas, we alter the natural concious by adding valueless emotions to our thoughts. As a natural instinct, I agree that (eg) a fish would be "afraid" of land, but that is a natural fear, but as a human, I am sure that we are afraid of the "water" not on the same level. We tend to add emotions to the thoughts - loss, death, pain etc - which makes that "fear" more profound.
