So who was John Lennon really? I have just started really getting into the Beatles music and is amazing and so abundant... But I have this feeling that John Lennon's soul and the soul of John the Baptist are one and the same. The more I think about this the more it makes sense to me. I remember someone talking about Paul having a twin, a space traveller? who occupied his body but I didn't read the thread... I will now. He just seemed so lost that towards the end of his life he was so unhappy that in a way he brought on his own suicide. I think he was majorly disappointed with the world and they're perceptions of who the Beatles were and the refusal to listen to the simplest of messages... That all you need is love... People find it hard to accept the simplicity of life sometimes we need more... and I think thats why I ask who was John Lennon really? Anyone any sugestions?

Interesting note about John the Baptist! But I do believe that John Lennon was an atheist or someone who didn't believe in dogamatic religion of any kind. -He was spiritual and he believed in peace and in being harmonic with the Universe. He was a great person but I don't agree that he had a piece of John the Baptist inside him. But I do believe he was someone else very special in one of his past lives. Indeed he was very special, I can tell you that!

Hey starlover, u are so right. The major reason I thought he had soemthing to do with John the Baptist was because of a reading by Edgar Cayce when he was saying that variuos of the apostles had incarnated had that time and that the John the Baptist was still to incarnate and I believe to be bearing the same name so I thought John as in Lennon. But it's just a theory... It makes u wonder about how people can tpuch so many others and be so lonely and misunderstood iin themselves. Thanks for your reply. Love Cat from Belfast
