They say it has nothing to do with the star wars but then it constantly talks about the force which makes me thing of star wars. Sounds pretty neat though ------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |

My opinion? From the website that constantly refers to the Star Wars movie and characters and has the following "code": The Jedi Code: There is no Emotion ~ There is Peace. There is no Ignorance ~ There is Knowledge. There is no Passion ~ There is Serenity. There is no Death ~ There is the Force. ...this group (religion *grimace*) just sounds like a bunch of immature guys who can't get dates. moth IP: Logged |

this is where I hang out, when I am not serving as an adjunct professor at Uni of Courascant, schooling Padawans... http://jediacademy.com they just redesigned it, it's the only Jedi site I visit. I actually had jedicarlo@hotmail.com for a while, it's available now though if anyone wants it the site you gave didn't impress me, it seems pretty basic, not really even befitting a young Padawan. Who makes a d/l page that links to Microsoft programs???...someone from the Empire, that's who...could be Dooku... Tell me this: why the hell would Lucas put a line in Episode 2 where he makes Ben say to Anakin, "Use the Force...think!" Remember, when Anakin was about to chase the changeling into the cantina? It's about feelings not thinking...letting go and letting your feelings run the show, not thought. Let your mind go and your body will follow. What gives? This was my biggest complaint with Ep 2, that one damned line. BB, Carlo IP: Logged |

I've always thougth the idea of becoming a Star- Warsesque Jedi was really cool, but now somebody's founded a Jedi religion?!? How can they take themselves seriously? Forgive my disrespect. Could someone explain this to me? ------------------ No longer mourn for me when I am dead Than you shall hear the surly sullen bell Give warning to the world that I am fled From this vile world, with vilest worms to dwell. -Shakespeare IP: Logged |

Being a Jedi is not a religion, it is a Path of Light. Even if it is called a religion by some, well, it's kind of a way of elevating it to a higher status. Yet it is a Path that some walk, and while there may be fellowship and comraderie within the ranks of the Jedi and Padawan, it is not a social club, circle jerk, nor a religion. It is a Path of Light and Truth, in the most precise definition.MTFBWY, Carlo IP: Logged |
