There's nothing quite like having the people closest to you screwing with your mind. Between my domineering Leo mother and my superficial Libran husband, I almost vanished into stupefying subservience.

But never underestimate the power of a Taurus. I will not be defeated. Period.
Especially by them. They know better now.

I thank all of you for your concern and kind words, and apologize for not answering emails, as my computer has been down for awhile(coincedence? I don't think so). I needed time to get back to myself.

I have to go and kick a little more butt right now (this time at my job).

I'll be talking to you soon!!

We're with you girl! Kick away!!!

Here's the next few days to help you work it...

FRI JAN 17 With all the excitement and stimulation yesterday, you may not realize that the first Full Moon of the new year will occur in the early hours tomorrow. The Full Moon cycle is really a five-day experience -- two days of preparation, the day itself, and two days of distribution of the higher energies received. When the Sun and Moon are equal in power, hundreds of metaphysical groups around the world have meditations to anchor spiritual currents within humanity and throughout Spaceship Earth. It's the high point and climax of the solar-lunar relationship. Helping you gear up for this event are four illuminating and flowing alignments: Venus sextiles Neptune (2:36AM PST) and Vesta (3:21AM PST); the Sun moves 30 degrees to Uranus (6:36AM PST); Mercury sextiles Juno (8:49AM PST). Opportunities are knocking for growth on many levels. The Venus-Neptune link is a big boost for artists, musicians, and anyone with a creative talent ready for dynamic expression. It also encourages romance -- something that is magnified favorably by the Mercury-Juno rapport. The Moon continues its voyage through Cancer -- stressing a focus on your establishing domestic tranquillity. Whip up a favorite dinner and desert, but have it early so you can be more reflective tonight as the Full Moon approaches exactitude.

SAT JAN 18 As you awaken, the Full Moon will have just occurred (2:49AM PST) at 28 degrees of Capricorn and Cancer. Because these are the main two zodiacal signs of career/profession and home/family, the odds increase that you will need to build a strong bridge uniting these realms. Most Full Moons are inspiring, but life can become loony, stressful, and combative because the two lights are literally on opposite sides of the Earth. Try to remain calm no matter what craziness seems to be happening around you. Send out your healing thoughts to people in need. Think more about how you can be of service rather than the personal gains you can make. On the national level, be aware that this Full Moon triggers America's natal Pluto from the country's birth on July 4, 1776. The Sun at this Full Moon is conjunct our Pluto within one-third of a degree! Read the news like a hawk -- looking for issues relating to the war on terror, nuclear energy, extremism, psychological mysteries, death-rebirth scenarios, events of great metamorphosis and transformation. There will be a brief void lunar cycle from 2:49AM PST until 6:30AM PST as the Moon enters fiery Leo. Once the Moon enters Leo, tap into your heart's desire and let your artistic power rise to the surface. Sports and assertive action are reinforced by a Moon-Mars trine (8:12AM PST). Maintain a sunny disposition throughout the day.

SUN JAN 19 All things considered, you've got the world on a string and there are many potentials for great success. Yes, it's true that Mercury is still retrograde, slowing down, and preparing for its direct station in Capricorn on January 22. However, there is never a perfect time on Earth relative to the heavenly motions. Fundamentally, you have to do the best you can with what you are offered. From the Moon's perspective, today is a virtual gold mine with the lunar orb trining Venus (4:08AM PST), conjuncting Jupiter (8:33AM PST), trining Pluto (3:32PM PST), and sextiling Saturn (10:46PM PST). Sing, dance, play, and -- most of all -- let the good times roll! It's fine to have a party at your place or enjoy an excursion in the great outdoors. A Venus-Ceres trine (7:14AM PST) in fire signs is an indication that you can experience a happy union or reunion with loved ones, children or elders. The one big challenge is that Juno in Scorpio squares Jupiter in Leo (10:53AM PST). Ouch! This is particularly a warning to lovers and married folks not to get into squabbles and bitter debates. Drop criticism like a hot potato. Praise others instead of trying to find flaws. A very rare Pallas-Pluto quintile (72 degrees) occurs at 9:48PM PST. Don your Agatha Christie garb and be a superb investigator, sleuth or detective. All kinds of psychic skeletons can come rattling out of the family or karmic closet.

MON JAN 20 Challenges loom even though the Sun enters service-oriented Aquarius (3:54AM PST) for the next thirty days. Become more involved with community events, volunteer efforts, and team sports during the next four weeks. The morning hours are a red-alert time due to the following: a void-of-course lunar cycle in Leo from 5:47AM PST until 10:33AM PST (when Virgo Moon begins); Mercury retrograde conjunct Chiron (7:09AM PST); the Sun parallel Mars (7:53AM PST). Be the tortoise rather than the hare. What's your rush? Because this is a federal national holiday in the U.S., many people will be on the go and traveling busy highways. Keep your cool if delays and frustrations are building. The Mercury-Chiron union is a reminder that your mind should be a source of healing and not a reservoir of anxiety. It's easy for minor problems to turn into giant headaches under Virgo Moon. This is more likely to occur around the Moon-Mars square (2:41PM PST). Focus more attention on nutritional and dietary concerns. Stock up on cereals, grains, herbs, seeds, and nuts.

TUE JAN 21 If you are involved with stock trading and investments, this is a week to be extra careful. Mercury retrograde is slowing down as it nears its direct station in Capricorn tomorrow afternoon. It is literally at the thirteenth degree of Capricorn until Saturday. As the main celestial body ruling business, commerce, communications, paperwork and signatures, Mercury is suggesting a universal time-out and period of reflection. The good news comes in the form of a Venus-Jupiter trine in fire signs (7:36AM PST). Your creative artistry can soar by leaps and bounds. Draw closer to loved ones who need your sensitive touch. Utilize this time to the hilt as it is an alignment of the two traditional benefics. Virgo Moon continues a focus on health care. Visit a natural-foods store and learn more about holistic healing techniques. Be the efficiency master at work and home. Eliminate the non-essentials. Reading, writing, and research are strengthened with the Moon in this mercurial sign of the zodiac. Reinforce love bonds during the evening hours as Venus moves 72 degrees to Uranus (10:26PM PST). Be generous with hugs and kisses.

WED JAN 22 Days when Mercury has no motion are always a powerhouse. This one is amplified as Mercury moves 45 degrees to its higher octave Uranus (3:16AM PST). Surprises and shock waves multiply. Being too pushy and impulsive will backfire. The actual Mercury station and turn forward at 13 degrees Capricorn happens at 5:09PM PST. [Mercury remains direct until April 26 when it will once again go into reverse.] Don't be too hasty to implement everything that has been waiting in the wings over the past three weeks. While Mercury is no longer retrograde tonight, it's not exactly zooming ahead. It will take the rest of this week for Mercury to really begin some kind of tangible movement. Another reason for caution -- particularly in the early hours -- is that the Moon in Virgo is void from 1:35AM PST until 1:24PM PST (when the lunar orb enters sociable Libra). Decision-making is almost a lost art today as the Moon and Mercury create emotional and mental chaos. Accept the status-quo in most areas of life. The best time of the day may be at 5:50PM PST when the Moon and Sun trine in air signs. This will be followed by a Sun-Venus parallel (6:20PM PST). Your artistic juices are flowing. Painting, music, dance, theater, poetry, and film work are at your beck and call. Like last night, Venus has a magic touch that can lift your romantic urges to new heights. Wine and dine a loved one at a favorite restaurant or café.

THU JAN 23 Breathe a sigh of relief. Be thankful for small favors and every advantage coming your way. Mercury in Capricorn, while very slow in motion, is at least not doing backstrokes anymore. Think more about what you can accomplish on the career and professional fronts. Be a good listener in business matters and keep your ear to the ground to pick up on golden opportunities about to manifest. This is magnified during the monthly Moon-Vesta union (8:17AM PST). Safety and security concerns will keep you busy. Major planetary alignments disappear for 24 hours while the Moon's power holds sway. The lunar orb in Libra makes flowing links to Neptune (6:56AM PST), Jupiter (1:39PM PST), Venus (6:38PM PST), and Pluto (9:35PM PST). Have a field day in the fine or graphic arts. Visit a gallery or experiment with the tools of your trade. Trust your intuitive hunches and don't merely operate by logic alone. Are you sensing a cosmic rumbling approaching earthly life? You are probably responding to a Venus-Pluto conjunction that will arrive on Saturday morning. Begin smoothing over differences with estranged relatives or beleaguered loved ones.

Love,
Carlo
