Hey ya'll -

I'm not overly inclined to believing in...well, stuff in general...but, still...

It seems that I've been having a bad time of it lately, physically that is. My complection's been getting bad, I'm bruising easily, my eyes are bloodshot, my lungs hurt, and I'm awfully tired.
I didn't notice it, but this has apparently been going on for a couple months now, although it's gotten worse recently.
I tried a harder drug (college life ) the other day, but besides that I hardly ever drink (on the level of once every few months to a couple times a year), don't smoke (anything), and haven't touched anything else; so I don't think it's that.
I'm not sure what it is.

So, since no one else I know prays and ya'll prolly hear more from the real (not at work, not at school, not thinking about either of the above) me, I'm asking you to send whatever spare white light and/or good thoughts you have lying around my way.

G'night.
Corri

From what little information you have given me, it sounds like marginal nutritional deficiencies. Try colloidal minerals. You can pick up a bottle at your local Sam's Club (and some Wal-Marts). If you do nothing else, at least take some vitamin C (preferably with bioflavanoids).

Also is the pain in your chest due to breathing as in an infection or is it the muscles? sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference.
love and light.

I second that. Some bloodwork might be necessary.

Aw, ya'll. I love this place and all the people in it.
I'm feeling better today. The post was a little nuts; yesterday was just ick, and I was sick of my five-day-old headache .

Thank you for the advice and the good thoughts. I'll look into the vitamins, and thank you for the site paganannie - it's so great that people're out there just being nice for the sake of it.
I dunno what it could be w/ my lungs. Thinking about that and reading these posts, I think it's just a low-grade infection. I bet Randall's right - it's prolly just a nutrition deficiency...guess Ramen noodles, grilled cheese, and PB&J sandwiches aren't doing it. I don't need to go to the Dr. It'll be cool.
Again, thanks ya'll

Sounds like a combination of several deficiencies--thiamine (and possibly other B vitamins), pre-scurvy symptoms (Vitamin C), calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, and most likely some trace minerals, as well. Eat junk food, but be sure to supplement!

Wait Proxieme- they don't have to!!

There are things you can do- you can be like me! I buy these organic things from Whole Foods Market, yeast for vitamin B's, cayenne, rose hips you can grind fo vitamin c, algae has great vitamins and minerals, please don't give up, your body needs these things..are you taking any flax oil?? It's soooooo good for you- just 5 bucks for a bottle of organic flax seed oil and that's a great start to a better feeling and healthier you!!

Get One Source (for women) from Wal-Mart. It only costs five bucks. Take two a day with your largest meal.

Kewl, thanks ya'll

I probably could swing even more expensive vits, but I just need to reorder my priorities. I go and spend money to go on Alternative Spring Break or up to a protest in NYC (or on a book, video, or game), but forget about decent food (and clothes, acc'd to some...but I think that there's considerable room for debate on that point) half the time.

So, ya'll. I'll look into both the organic alternatives and the cheaper vitamins ... just one question: What does flax seed oil do?
OK, 2 questions:
How long do ya'll think it'll take b/f I get better if I take the above measures?

You didn't get sick overnight, and you won't get 100 percent overnight, but it won't take long. A month is reasonable.

Flax seed oil supplies our bodies with necessary fatty acids that we NEED. It's very good for you!

Hey ya'll
(esp Danita Fajita & Randall)

I broke down and bought some multi-vits, and I also got a Trader Joe's cereal w/ whole flax seed in it (I couldn't find just flax seed oil anywhere, but then I'm lazy).
My eyes have already cleared up

Just thought I'd keep ya'll up to date since you were nice enough to share your advice
