By Margot Adler and Starhawk, respectively...

I've been poking around on-line looking at them...anyone know about them and have some input?
Also, are they any newer (but still worthwhile) books floating about on the same subject?

It may be 1:20 PM, but from me to all ya'll,
Goodmorning

(The following in no way pertains to you or this thread; I just really, really wanted to post it somewhere, and here it won't offend anyone.)

My favorite currently is 'Truth or Dare' by Starhawk. It's sort of a non-fiction companion to Fifth Sacred Thing, IMHO.

Scott Cunningham is also a good author for solitary witches.
Janet and Stewart Ferrar are another influence on me, although I'm not really into the more formal traditions.

Yes, Laurie C. is nice, I've met her a few times, she's a Pisces, and I've hung out with her two daughters before. Scott C. is def great, he was so prolific before he died, authoring over 30 books, 16 for Llewellyn alone, before he was even 40. And Virgo Silver Ravenwolf is a good author too, and there are many others. I saw Janet F & and Gavin B (her new husband who lived with her and Stewart in Stewart's final years) speak in Boston a couple years ago, she still looks so fabulous. Cancer Stewart was a nice guy, we chatted at a gathering a couple years before he died. I love the Pagan community, there are so many nice Pagans. Harpyr, do you know the peeps at wackyjac.com? They are fun too:

they have a fun site, you should check it out

Bright Blessings,
Carlo

oh hrmmm...

Starhawk is a well respected pagan author so Drawing Down The Moon is always a good choice.
