Today I got my real birth time in the mail. Turns out so much is different. My mom thought my birth time was 11:30-11:50 at night, turns out it was 7:29pm! WHICH makes me (I told you this was selfish)
an Aquarius with a Taurus moon ( Iknew it, I love to eat, etc. I knew I had some Taurus infl.) and Virgo asc ( I knew it, I knew I didn't have scorp asc. I mean I knew I had alot of emotion but I am so un-secretive which is what I kept hearing about scorp risings)

SO today was very exciting for me to find out these things. All my other planets are in the same sign I am just so happy to have it all figured out! Well if anyone reads this, thank you, I know this is not really of anyone's concern I was just sooooooooooo thrilled I had to share. Much love to you all wonderful knowflakes

How exciting for you!!!
My parents told me the wrong time, and until I had to go get a BC to get married, I had a wrong chart. When I saw my birth certificate, the first thing I did was have a chart done!!!
Congrats!!!

(continuing, 'cause I can't edit)

There had to've been some reason I popped-on today, and that must've been it. I'm so happy for you Fajita.

I was going to do my own "selfish posting" but you were the one that I wanted to tell this to, anyway, so it'll go here:
Remember that post a while back on the my perceptions and the pain/pleasure of life, etc?
I haven't been on that much lately 'cause I've been reading quite a bit, mostly Eastern thought or Western thought heavy with Eastern influence, and I've been completely overwhelmed. All these thoughts that I thought made me a bit nuts and disconnected (you know, "I'm not alone, but lonely because it doesn't seem like anyone gets what I'm trying to say," or whatever I said) ARE RIGHT HERE
There's been lately this influx of thought to me - I haven't been able to sleep all that well, it was a little tormenting - and then...it's here!
Hm. This is a little disorganized because I'm so excited, but I'll give you an example from a book right in front of me:
"The universe of forms has become increasingly imbued with a radiance, an awesome, often bittersweet beauty,...Because it is new to me, I am often surprised by the feeling of love for other people, animals, and the earth that arises, often when I least expect it."
(!!!)
>dancing through my townhouse...out into the snow...back, a little cold...I had no shoes on... <
And I'm reading about these people and their conflicts with what they KNOW and what they DO (the disparity that so often arises, etc).
And, and the unity underlying the apparent seperateness that they talk about...that's what I was feeling but couldn't adequately express. And, and...I remember the other day I was sitting, and the thought suddenly popped into my head that if I ignore the needs and pain of any other person then I'm ignoring that of my brother or sister, as we all come from the same source; and if I see them for the label that I've given them/that they've given themselves/etc. I do a disservice to their humanity and the their essential being that lies beyond labels...AND THEN I READ THAT TODAY
But, thinking about that, I guess that's in the New Testament to some extent, but since I was raised as an atheist I guess it never registered...till right now.
Oh, DanitaFajita, I'm sorry for taking up so much space - that was not my intent when I first began - but I'm SO EXCITED and it just sort of flew from my fingers to the keyboard.
But, Fajita and whoever else's reading this...I don't feel alone anymore; the disconnection that I knew was false and that shouldn't have been there...that dammed illusion...is gone, it's dissolved.

P.S. I've never seen you be selfish, Fajita, at least not on this site. You've always come across as one of the most warm, welcoming, and caring people around (must be that Moon you've got on your hands there ), and I think that everyone who comes into contact with you will agree.

(Take this from a Pisces with a whole slew of Leonine placements who often balks at her own selfishness and self-centered action even as she does it...see the above posting, I ramble...
You, Fajita, are going to have a song written and sung for you by the band below:

- They're def-mutes, so be kind; they think that we can hear them - )

Oh Proxieme I am so glad you read that good stuff and it helped you! You go girl! Those are wonderful things that we are all brothers and sisters and come from the same source. I do know sometimes it's tough when you can't express yourself! Sometimes I feel soooo much emotion and I don't know what to do, and so overwhelmed with love or sadness or awe and words just can't do justice to the whole spectrum of emotions I am feeling.

You're so wonderful Proxieme, thanks for being happy for me! And everyone! I love the band! They are playing my song

Thanks Randall too, you guys are really sweet and I feel the same about everyone, you guys make me want to be a better person and that is how you know you are in the right place

Well Queen of Sheeba I wasn't planning to get it rectified, I thought it would say the same time that my mom had give me, but turns out it was a whole new ballgame for me!!! but yea you should check it out, mother's are giving birth and apt to not be precise with the time (I mean, I certainly don't blame them, phew!)

thank you all so much for reading!! I am still so so excited about it, and of course everyone I try and tell looks at me like I am cukoo- but wait, I am and pretty used to that!

Fajita -
Since you are basking in the new glow of your birthtime, here's a description of the Sun in Aqua/Moon in Taurus mix from _Sun Sign, Moon Sign_ by Charles and Suzi Harvey; it's limited, 'course, but I found the description for my combo to be pretty accurate, and I thought you might find the same fer yours:
___________________________________________________________________
SUN AQUARIUS, MOON TAURUS

A hungry man is not a free man.
Adlai Stevenson

Only by transcending the everyday, by seeing human life in larger terms, can the individual escape the slow strangulation of "permanent errors".
E.G. Price

(Both of the above quotes from other Aqua/Taurus peeps.)

Themes
AIR/EARTH: Eccentric entrepreneur; level-headed; security vs independence; tencacious; pragmatic intellect; logical; kind-hearted; generous; ambitious; capable; friendly; self-indulgent; humanitarian; peace-loving but strong-willed

You are as peaceful and sensual and Ferdinand the bull lazing on his grassy hill, but potentially as idealistic and broad-minded as the Spectator of all time and existence. You are independent, reasonable, and dedicated to self-development and honourable values. Underneath, however, your habits and assumptions are firmly rooted in the status quo and in the permanence in your life of all those things that make you comfortable, happy, and secure.

You may see yourself as an open-minded, progressive thinker. It is quite likely that you are a reformer, at least in temperment. If so, your raison d'etre is the protection and enchancement of basic human needs: economic security; the maintenance of physical and mental health; an aesthetic, perferably green environment; and the simple sensual pleasures of living.

You are extremely individualistic and pretty set in your ways. A deep inner sense of contentment and self-satisfaction can make you appear a trifle smug. Even when you are feeling unconfident, your basically high opinion of yourself impresses others and sees you through rough times. Valuing peace as much as you value your own ideas makes you a natural diplomat: gracious and sympathetic, yet practical, reasonable, and detached.

A happy union of emotional and intellectual natures within you lends weight to your views and inspires confidence in others. You therefore make a good leader or executive, even though you are not really interested in selling youself or having power over others. But you are certainly not interested in anyone having power over you either. In fact, your refusal to conform may become your traditional way of preserving your position. As a result, you are one of the most indomitable and stubborn members of society, even though you are ever so nice at being just that. You like yourself just fine that way and, all in all, you enjoy being yourself.

If there is a conflict within you it is between home comforts and your future-oriented insight and thrust. Part of you is deeply nostalgic for the past; the background mood of your personality is coloured with vivid feelings and deeply imbedded experiences and values. Another part of you, however, analyses the past in order to learn from it. You feel yourself to be very deeply attached to your roots, but you know you are more than that.

You are excellent at making sense of individual human patters and needs, which enables you to push the world gently forwards in healthier directions. You might do this by, for example, becoming more aware of green issues, spiritual growth, and complementary therapies. You are also quite likely to be very involved with art in one way or another, with a social world filled with artists and eccentrics. Whatever you do, you bring a potentially powerful blend of idealism and realism to any project or relationship, be it commercial, artistic, or philanthropic.

Relationships
You can be quite loving and romantic, as well as solid and dependable. Even though you have a strong sense of your self and your independence, you do enjoy life more with someone at your side, but it must be someone you can respect intellectually and aesthetically.

Although you can be very stubborn and set in your ways, you will always be open to discussing problems rationally and harmoniously. At times you may be just a little too maddeningly rational for your own good, and prone to be aloof and detached when emotional protests get too loud. But you are devoted (even possessive and maybe jealous - although you would dispute this) to your loved one, and will instigate the slow process of change and adjustment if you can see that doing otherwise would threaten your happiness and security.

Your Greatest Strengths
Infinite patience and common sense; reliability and loyalty to loved ones; courtesy and broad, philanthropic approach to people; ability to combine your distinct individuality with sensible, realistic thinking; dedication to grounding your inspirations with persistent efforts.

Greatest (Potential) Weaknesses
Smugness and inertia; arrogance and stubborness; a reluctance to listen to other views; being too logical and detached in emotional matters; riding roughshod over others in order to achieve your ambitions.

Images for Integration
A country girl seeks a conventional life with an unconventional young man in the big city...The resident caretaker of a "New Age" community sips his Beaujolais as he systematically does the year's accounts.

Famous Personalities
Bill Bixby (actor), Charles Carter (astrologer), Juliette Greco (singer and poet), Germaine Greer (feminist writer), James Hoffa (union leader), Natassia Kinski (actress), Somerset Maugham (writer), E.G. Price (novelist), Ronald Reagan (former American President), Steve Reeves (actor), Martin Shaw (actor), Adalai Stevenson (politician), Emanuel Von Swedonborg (philosopher and mystic)

Thanks for the comp, LL Alas, though, they cannot hear you (deaf, remember?), nor can they read (Oh! The travesty that is the little-smiley person education system); but I'm fluent in little-smiley-band sign, so I'll pass it along.

But for the sleight against Scorp risings!!!

Hey Danita

Good thing I found this topic! I just started organizing your musical chart and writing down the chords and such for each house.... this will definitely change some things! When I'm done figuring out all of the notes and chords I will put it to music and email you an mp3. It will be soon, I've just been strapped for free time lately.

Also, I got your message on my b-day thread. Thanks for the kindness. I actually didn't do much because I am SO swamped with things, but my boyfriend and I drove to the top of Mt. Tam (a big, gorgeous mountain in Marin above San Francisco) and watched deer for a few hours. They get really close to you there and no one else was around because it was a weathery day so we got to hang out with them in solitude almost. Driving back down the mountain you get to see the whole city area and also the Pacific Ocean and Hwy 1 beaches as far as your eyes will allow. The sky was pink, peach and purple with lots of scattered but thick clouds. Some were dark rain clouds and some were puffy white...very dramatic. The air was filled with ocean, pine and eucalyptus... it was so amazing. After that we went to San Francisco and had my favorite Indian food... needless to say, I am a happy fish, thanks for asking

Well, take care
Pearl

Thanks Jjjax. It was hard for me to share my excitement with fam and friends so luckily I could come here. Anyone have any ideas on how to meet people in my area that are into astrology. I'm so sick of being at a bar and getting blank stares when I talk about it. LOL
