Gday Guys 
I got the urge to move towns about a month ago - and now here i am - far from family and friends and familiarity.I did all the proper numerology and astrology checks before i went - and the opportunity i got was so good i couldn't not take it up (The chance to study Natural Medicine in Tasmania). The thing is i've been in Tassie for about a week and things aren't going very well at ALL  I can't find a job, I can't find a suitable place to live - and i don't know if it's me or what but i just can't seem to make any friends! I went to a yoga class last night and tried to chat with people but they all just ignored me! I felt like crying! I know i should give it a bit longer - but the urge just to give up and go home is so strong - specially when i'm a country girl living in a city and i'm feelin totally overwhelmed! Does anyone have any suggestions? What should one do when they move to a different city to try and 'fit in'? Does anyone have any tips on how to make this easier? Thanks for listening

just keep it up, and don't give up.Sorting yourself out in a new place takes a bit of time - i know it doesnt sound like much of a comparison but the 1st two weeks in uni i spent mostly in my room playing unreal tournament until i started coming out of my shell! IP: Logged |

Your courage in your moving & preparation says so much about you Nebel!! You must be a brave and adventurous soul. hey, what are chins for if not to keep up? besides, tis only been a week! (err.. 'course, a sag would say this.)you've chosen a to-die-for field of study. i'd love steal your traveling boots so better hang on to them. ...ahh...tasmania...!...wouldn't that be your paradise?...."If you want to view paradise - simply look around and view it!"  what about checking local websites for jobs? here's some  for you.

Thank you so much for your lovely advice and thoughts Things are gettin a bit better... i went for a drive yesterday and found this majical spot full of crystals - it was amazing LOL
