Hi All,

Do colors have anything to do with a pserson's personality?If yes what does RED signify?i mean if a person likes red what could be his/her qualities like?

I have an interesting relationship with the colour red,I'm so weird about wearing red,I'd like to,but I cant seem to and I find my day goes badly if I do,in the past I have actually run home to change clothes because I felt that wearing red was too much for me.Perhaps I have lots of red in my aura already or something,it seems to magnify the fire in my chart or something.
However it's ocurred to me that my 'phobia' about red could be psychological and perhaps have something to do with the having been brought up as a strict catholic.
I think red is only brought out and worn as a robe very rarely and on certain occasions in the catholic mass(I cant remember what these occasions are).
Do you think catholics have an inbuilt aversion to the colour red or something?
Maybe it's just me
Perhaps it's the association with the devil.

That's really very interesting what you say about red.
Read the link re "sexuality" and colours that I posted above.
Perhaps when you wear red you feel it really intensifies the fire in your chart and so makes you too "hot"? In England there is a school of thought (which may now be totally outdated, I don't know) that a strict Catholic upbringing suppresses your sexuality/sexual urges. That sex is wrong - which also made me think your comment about the devil was interesting as well.
What are your thoughts about that?

Red definitely does make me feel as though my temperature is too 'hot'.
I would be interested to hear from any other people who had a catholic upbringing,or indeed anyone elses opinion,perhaps there is some deeply buried message within us regarding red.
Also I notice you are an astrologer,I have sun,moon and mars in Leo,do you think I just have an excess of red in my aura,I certainly have an excess of (physical)energy.
I read through the site and found it interesting perhaps there is a link with sex being repressed by the catholic church

I can see the way you're thinking re red and the fire in your chart. Your Sun, Moon & Mars are all in fire however we'd need to look at your whole chart to see the element balance.

Yes Mars in Leo can give that feeling - again it depends on your whole chart. What house your Mars is in, what aspects it makes to other planets in your chart etc.

i have a funny relationship with the color red also. i guess i first noticed it when i was 17 i had a boyfriend with a red gto convertible i was petrified of the car, i hated to drive in it even though it was an awesome car. 2 months later he hit a train and totalled the car. he was ok though. i have never ever worn the color. always hated it??? Taurus affliction??? well 25 years later i have felt lately like wearing red??. i bought 2 sweaters and felt like i loved them got them home but every time i put them on i feel i look terrible??? i take them off. i bought 2 other shirts that are red wore them around the house had to take them off. its so weird. i am catholic. i wouldn't say strict. i beleive in god but i don't go to church like i should, i feel my faith and religion is in my heart and my actions. i think red is to strong of a color and im timid. its the only color that does this to me. i love other bright colors yellow is one of my favorites. ??past life??
