I don't agree with him, but he is articulate. I really like what he said about Linda:

Linda Goodman is one of the most famous astrologers of our era, selling over 60 million copies of her first two books on astrology, Sun Signs and Love Signs. Both of these books have been translated into over fifteen languages, and she has received bids of millions of dollars from publishing companies seeking the rights to her new books. Goodman is not a fatalistic astrologer who believes "it's all in the stars." Two themes emerge in her writing: (1) time does not really exist; and (2) when you learn to become a mover instead of a pawn, you rise above your horoscope.

However, in an interview with Whole Life Times magazine Goodman responds to the question: "What do you think is going to happen in this New Age? You speak in one of your books about this being a time of preparation for the appearance of a Messiah." Goodman answers: "I also point out in the 'Lexigram' chapter of Star Signs that the Second Coming is not going to be a barefooted man floating down in a white robe. The Second Coming is in each heart, when each man and each woman realizes that 'I too am a Messiah.' And then I did a Lexigram on the word Messiah. I am he. She is me. He is her. I am she. He is me."

He does in fact hit a lot of valid points, and he does have a good argument. He knows that we must listen to our inner ear before we can believe anything.

But I believe he forgets that God lives within us and not out of us.
God wants us to follow our Higher Selves, thats all he really had to say in the first place.

accually it doesnt sound like he's advising listening with your inner ear when judging these things at all, he quite recommends letting the bible make the decisions for you. of course some of those conclusions were a real stretch!

he certainly put linda in a better light then the rest though. that's pretty cool!

I got a severe warning about crystals in Catholic school that stuck with me for life. Funny how some things always affect us. Premarital sex and alot of things are A-OK with my morals, but getting a tattoo or owning crystals is ingrained in my mind as NEGATIVE. Yep I carry all sorts of guilt from that Catholic upbringing!!

I was reading the article, trying to figure out this guy's point. Really, folks, I don't think anyone with half a mind actually thinks the so-called "new" age stuff is anything new --it's ancient --so?

I will end with saying good for Paul, he found Jesus.

To each his own.
