Topic: My daughter needs your prayers

I am posting this here and in Health and Healing. Yesterday I took my younger daughter (just turned 17; Pisces Sun, Taurus Moon, Sag. Ascendant) to get a physical for her learner's permit and working papers. While examining her abdominal area, a "hard swelling" was discovered. Two other physicans were called in to examine and confirm it. Pregnancy isn't an issue because she isn't sexually active; she doesn't even have a BF. So...it was determined that there could be something abnormal growing in her uterus and an ultra sound was ordered for Monday morning.We were told that it "could just be fibroids". I know about these (had them) and I also know it is much more common in someone older, not 17-year-olds. I am so frightened for her I don't know what to do. PLEASE pray for her! Trying to cope with this new fear along with the ongoing problem my older daughter has been having as outlined in the "Need help/advice!" thread, is becoming more than I can handle. People around me are telling me to "not worry until I know what's going on", but this is my CHILD and I may as well be told not to breathe. I'm trying very hard to be strong for her because she too is terrified, but I'm only human.  Please, we need prayers, love and healing light sent our way. Thanks for listening.  IP: Logged |

I understand how frighening this must be for you and your daughter.
she went in for a physical, she is not Ill ?
Bood in her urine or stool, significant weight loss, pain, Fatigue? If not try to relax and more important try to help her to relax. Odds are in her favor that it is nothing serious.BLESSINGS TO YOU

TwinLady, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. If it's okay with you, I'll pass the word along to my sister and her friends as well, to add to the prayers and hopes for a speedy recovery and quick resolution to the ongoing issue. Everyone I am very touched by your responses; one more confirmation of the special inhabitants of Lindaland.  The messages here and in Health and Healing are helping me to stay positive when my daughter expresses fear; I come back to read them several times a day. Regarding my older's daughter hemorraghing: in a word, STRESS. Her Dr. had a good talk with her after she told him everything she's been dealing with concerning the person trying to ruin her reputation: He told her she needs to prioritize her life...get enough sleep, spend time with supportive people, count her blessings and most of all...turn a deaf ear to this person, "nomatter what she says". He did prescribe medication similar to Valium for her to take at bedtime so she can sleep because insomnia has been a factor. With Mars conjunct her Sun in Gemini she is high-strung to begin with, and this situation has exacerbated the tendency towards nervousness greatly. So...I'm a little LESS worried about her for now.  Also, I've shared with my younger daughter these messages and she asked me to express her appreciation for your kindness. Zauberin and anyone else, yes; feel free to pass on the request for prayer.
