A pervert shown as sender "sports <sports@irish-times.com>" had attached virus in its mail with subject "Some questions" to group "members@lindagoodman.net". I am grateful that I had my anti-virus program on for e-mails. I just want to make sure folks here are warned ahead.

I got it too last night
My email is private, so I don`t think it`s connected to LL. I know virus`s can be traced, but whats the use.

Heres how mine appeared: "sports Some questions Fri 05/02 133k" . The 133 k always tip me off as most I get vary from 121-143.

Just keep your protection running.

N_W, I`m computer challanged' whats MIME HEADERS ?

the beginning of the email that contains tags telling you which servers the email has gone through and usually an origionating IP address, so if its spam you can call up their ISP and do them over.

that email addy must have been hijacked...The Irish Times is a website that Kthleen McGowan owns and operates, and she would not do something like that. I bet that someone hijaked her email client and is the culprit.
