If you were a city, which one would you be? http://www.rampantgecko.com/paradox/citytest.html Now I want to know, does this sound like the juniperb you`ve come to know? Nashville, Tennessee Nashville, Tennessee The country music capitol of the world, Nashville has been known as a number of names including French Lick. It was not until 1784 that they named it Nashville. Rich with cultural factions, it is sometimes referred to as the "hillbilly capitol." Everyone has recorded in the studios, leaving behind the echoes of every music imaginable. The heart and soul of the city is the Grand Old Opry House, which is the first and most popular tourist spot. They say all roads lead to Nashville. I wanted New Orleans...pooh! juniperb IP: Logged |

SEATTLESeattle, Washington Contrary to popular opinion, Seattle is not as rainy as legend says. It is in fact a charming green jewel with sparkling cerulean water and verdant hills. Its isolation has made it home to free-thinking and independent individuals. Despite having the most millionaires per capita, it still has a small town atmosphere. A small town with lots of coffee that is. Java is an art there. Perhaps it is the coffee that has caused this city to give birth to twisted cartoonists and rock stars. IP: Logged |

quote: Boston, MassachusettsConsidered to be the birthplace of American Independence, Boston is well known for it's stubborn and forward thinking nature. With it's small streets that beckon you to explore them, it is the perfect place to live if you would like to walk everywhere. It is because of this that Boston is considered closer to Europe than the rest of the states. The residents there not only have their own unique pronunciation and vocabulary, but their own grammatical construct as well. If you plan on visiting, make sure you understand their language to avoid being snickered at.
They picked up on my stubborn... er, "persistent" nature. Not bad, although I did choose New York, but if I could have two I'd also have San Francisco- whatta place! . Lunargirl IP: Logged |

New Orleans, Louisiana Rich with stunning beauty, this city glows with bright colours by day and is hung with seductive mists by night. They say no-one lives in New Orleans, but that it lives inside the people. Exotic, beautiful and dangerous; it is a city of extremes. Decadent hotels, historic buildings and crafty criminals inhabit the same streets. From the towering oaks in city park to the magnificent French quarter, every corner of this city is a breath-taking panorama of mysteries. Anyone who visits this city cannot help but take a piece of her home in their heart. Sounds like a scorpio city to me.

It's not a city but a place. Maui, Hawaii. A beautiful heaven where time is another dimension, another pace there. Also Ireland - a land of magic, faeries and rich with superstition (I've never been there, but desperately want to go).Love and Peace, Sunmeadow Glades. IP: Logged |

Damn skippy! NEW YORK FRIGGIN CITY, Baby!New York, New York Overwhelming to visitors, this bustling city can seem hard and imposing. With so much going on, there is an axiom that if you visit NY for a day you will see most of what you want; for a week, some of what you want; and if you live there, you will see none of it. It is a city made by people, changed in some small way by everyone who passes through it. Despite what anyone may have ever said about it, New York has shown a tremendous spirit. At their heart, New Yorkers are symbolic of the American Spirit, and have become the poster children for defiance in the face of adversity. IP: Logged |

Las Vegas, Nevada The jewel of the desert, this glittering neon city of greed was first settled by Mormons in 1855. Famous for its casinos above all else, this city's life revolves around the strip and downtown. Home to wedding chapels, an Elvis museum and a Liberace museum; there is no shortage of things to do in addition to gambling. Just outside the glitz and noise is some of the most beautiful land in the states. Rich with wildlife and dramatic scenery, even nature here is bright and outrageous. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Aberdeen, WANOTES: Included are only major cities currently in the range of visibility, with maximum spacecraft elevations over the horizon larger than 10 degrees. The data are also valid for suburban regions around these cities, with slight changes in Direction of Motion and Max. Elevation. i couldnt find one of those neat paragraphs explaining aberdeen. but my intuition said that's what city i am. this was from a spacecraft passover site or something IP: Logged |
