Heck, no - I have to put half the words that I type on here into google first just to make sure that I've spelt them correctly.

The only thing that _really, really_ irks me beyond all else - and for no good reason, mind you - is "I could care less" rather than "I couldn't care less". The former's just not right unless you're saying, "You know, I really could care less about what you're saying...that is, it has some importance to me."

BTW - Your ad was a riot

I already have it all. Except a workaholic. We don't like working, we just wait for money. It usually shows up. Sometimes late for work, but it shows.

I could care less means you could care less than you already are. I couldn't care less means you already doing your best not to care. Huh? Razz, Razz.

No, no, no, no, no -

I could care less means that you, in fact, could possibly care less...there is a way, however slight, that you could care to some degree about the subject at hand.
I couldn't care less means that you couldn't possibly care less...that is, no matter what, nothing could make you care less than you already do.

But I guess that we'll just have to agree to disagree if you persist in taking your above position.

They both sound possible! Maybe it's the intonation in your voice that makes it mean what you want it to mean. Huh?

Wait, Wait. I think we are saying the same thing.
I could care less means you could care less than you already are. You have cared more or less in the past.
I couldn't care less means you already doing your best not to care. Huh?

Who said these nasty things to you anyway?

Kinda.

I see "I couldn't care less" as a saying of supreme indifference.

Like, "There is no way that this matter/subject/etc. could possibly sway my emotions or intellect in any way, shape, or form. I will not give a single, solitary thought to it beyond considering it for dismissal."

Naw, no one said it to me - it just inexplicably gets under my skin...I think I'll blame my Virgo Jupiter and Saturn teaming up for that.

*heavily panting, eyes crazed and glassy, hair wild from pulling over insignificant grammatical point*

Naw, I'm fine - just maybe a bit more titchy and lonely than usual.

Jase's gone TDY down in Florida for a loooong series of funerals.
He left on Sunday night - he was only supposed to be gone til Monday, but it keeps getting extended
As it stands now, he'll be gone 'til Friday night.

Blah, blah, blech.

Aaannnd once Meg's asleep I keep staying on the internet instead of getting stuff done around the house.
On the plus side, the two ginormous flippin' rugs that I ordered just came in.
And I got them for 40% off with only $2.95 shipping.

*Virgo placements let out squeaks of joy*

Overstock.com rawks.

Another plus: _____

Jesus winking!

Or a hippie

Yeeaaah...I better go lay those rugs down now.

Oh, he's in the US Army's Helicopter Flight Training Program...but is kinda "on hold" right now (not in class) due to flight deficiencies stemming from sleep problems and after-the-fact diagnosed ADHD.
Right now he's working on getting a medical waiver for the latter - if he can, his XO (the guy under the guy in charge of his company) has said that he'll get back in class.

So, in the meantime he's eligible to be put on "details" - usually busy work to keep soldiers from being idle; but he's on funeral detail - he's one of the military guys who go down to fire the shots, play the bugle, and fold the flag at funerals for retiree, vet, and active duty funerals.
He's gone much of the time, but he prefers it to manning a desk answering phones because he feels like he's actually doing something meaningful for people - he has a 6th House Taurus Moon, so I don't begrudge him that need.

Hi everyone, cool post.
I need some love and sympathy - I’m a little I hope no one's eating

Do you know the weirdest thing happened. Being sick and all my mind’s not functioning right…I was reading the early posts ( thinking they were new ) and then I looked at the date lol, I had to check the date of the last post to reassure myself

Philbird!!! I almost fell off my chair
Awwww…I don’t fit anything in that description - except for the math, I’m a walking calculator

I’ll try to write an ad…

Oh great! Of course I can't see my last post. I wonder if I have some special mercury placement that causes this.

Eeek! Darn, I got what I thought I wanted within 4 months, but really, he was too indecisive to really make a definite move....Wow, random thoughts of a Capricorn/Libra(moon and rising) named Jason, who had dark hair AND eyes...woah. I must remember to be more specific, as the next male I ask for needs to be different than the one I got last time...

I kept going back and re-editing cause I thought that I was being too specific.

P.S. To the top!

Ok, well, this time, I'll be more careful, and much more specific:

Free-spirited strong-willed Lady interested in Dependable secure warm-hearted Gentleman with enthusiasm for life
SWF, 19, approaches life as long-term adventure. She can cook a three-course meal with precision and flair as an accomplished chef, yet enjoys spur-of-the-moment nights of whirlwind dancing, movies, and chai lattes. Warm and compassionate, she appreciates R&B, hip-hop, soft rock, folk, as well as live music. She is on the lookout for a comfortably stylish Gentleman, 18-22, to share time with for thought-provoking conversation, as well as a balance of nights out and low-key evenings home. He must be confident, assertive, creative, warm-hearted, and able to be loyal to her. A intelligent sense of humor, social ease, and willingness to sort though drama big and small are definite pluses. This lady has much to offer in return!

Wow, well, I got what I wanted...hehe. Exactly what I asked for and only a few weeks after I specified my request, a guy friend, who I got to know over time and who became a boyfriend recently. Sweetest guy, and we stabilize each other out, in a positiive way.
