Ready?

If the world stopped it`s rotation today, as predicted by Zetatalk : http://zetatalk.com/index/psdate.htm

and you had 5.9 days to get your affairs in order befire the pole shift, what would your priorities be? Would you make amends with enemies, eat all the junk food you wanted, quit your job & party, stay in prayerful state? Or ? ? ?

Personally, I wouldn`t pay any more bills Let all the four leggeds eat all their hearts desired, visit each of my loved ones and share the positive impact they`ve had on my life and simply spend the time enjoying all the divine has loaned me in this sojourn. Thats about as wild & crazy as I get , now you!!

I don`t buy into any of Zetatalk, but it gives us something to think about regarding where we`re at on our path...

I just got this and thought it fit the subject

Jake, the rancher, went one day
to fix a distant fence.
The wind was cold and gusty
and the clouds rolled gray and dense.

As he pounded the last staples in
and gathered tools to go,
The temperature had fallen,
the wind and snow began to blow.

When he finally reached his pickup,
he felt a heavy heart.
>From the sound of that ignition,
he knew it wouldn't start.

So Jake did what most of us would do
if we had been there.
He humbly bowed his balding head
and sent aloft a prayer.

As he turned the key for the last time,
he softly cursed his luck.
They found him three days later,
frozen stiff in that old truck.

Now Jake had been around in life
and done his share of roaming.
But when he saw Heaven, he was shocked---
it looked just like Wyoming!

Of all the saints in Heaven,
his favorite was St. Peter.
(Now, this line ain't needed
but it helps with rhyme and meter)

So they set and talked a minute or two,
or maybe it was three.
Nobody was keepin' score ----
in Heaven time is free.

"I've always heard," Jake said to Pete,
"that God will answer prayer,
But one time when I asked for help,
well, he just plain wasn't there."

Does God answer prayers of some,
and ignore the prayers of others?
That don't seem exactly square -----
I know all men are brothers."

"Or does he randomly reply,
without good rhyme or reason?
Maybe, it's the time of day,
the weather or the season."

"Now I ain't trying to act smart,
it's just the way I feel.
And I was wondering', could you tell me ----
what the heck's the deal?!"

Peter listened very patiently
and when Jake was done,
There were smiles of recognition,
and he said, "So, you're the one!!"

"That day your truck, it wouldn't start,
and you sent your prayer a flying,
You gave us all a real bad time,
with hundreds of us trying."

"A thousand angels rushed,
to check the status of your file,
But you know, Jake, we hadn't heard from you
in quite a long while."

"And though all prayers are answered,
and God ain't got no quota,
He didn't recognize your voice,
and started a truck in North Dakota."

BETTER KEEP IN TOUCH

You get the idea!!!

What is Zetatalk? Is he related to David Icke?

Wow! If that really was going to happen, think I would go visit my family, get a case of really nice California Cabernet Sauvignon, light some candles, have a party with my cats and listen to Pearl Jam.

Anyone have an idea the force required to suddenly halt the 1000 mph rotational speed of a body as massive as the Earth.

Hmmm, wouldn't make any plans for that 5.9 day period if I were you. You and everything else on the Earth's surface are also moving at 1000 mph. Plan on an unscheduled air flight.

So, when it doesn't happen, does that mean the loss of credibility for the person/persons behind the planet X hoax?

jwhop... I always dreamed of flying unencumbered... swoosh

Credibility, I didn`t see that particular word in the article ; guess we`re just supposed to run around like ants and accept our earthly fate. And then there were the Millerites, Jehovah Witness and...

...all of those religeous ones!

n_wEvil you crack me up! Blowing up stuff does sound very attracting to me with a few beers in my pocket. Or a bankrobbery but I wouldn't wanna scare anyone so that's no choice. Hmmmm lemme think some more. If I would robb a bank I would dress in latex!
Eating hallucinating but natural mushrooms (they sell them in a shop around the corner ..hey we live in Holland!! ) with my luv and tripping our way to the end maybe? That sounds great as we have the chance to talk to the trees, they must know more than we will ever know. Funnily with mushrooms in yr belly you have access to telephatic communication, it's awesome, I guess we will get to feel a whole lot of natural peace inside that's for sure. Anyway, drifting off here.

Btw. Didn't Edgar Cayce predict this as well? The pole shift?

Something massive enough to perturb the earths rotation would screw up the orbit first so we'd be getting pretty radical weather variations, not to mention the moon would probably be flying away or knocked within its' roche limit and start to break up from gravitational tidal stressed.

I only skim-read the article but...uhh...well. Anyone seen that film "The Core" yet? it seems to have a similar theme

Yeah, I read all those JW end of the world stories too. I never make fun of someone's religion but this actually happened.

I was in the carpet business and got a call to come on out and sell a customer some carpet. They wanted my very best and wanted to finance it. In the course of writing up the contract, they told me they would never have to pay for it because the world was ending in 3 months. I believe it was early 1975. I tried to talk them out of it but they were very insistent and very sure. Who knows, maybe they're still paying on it.

Their record is rather spotty as predictions go. These are the other years they predicted the world would end---Judgment Day.
1914, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1941, 1972, 1975.

So, y'all will have to pardon my skepticism about planet X.

Hi, All!

Interesting article, juniperb!
However, since I rarely take things at face value and I'm feeling a bit like stirring things up today...

A couple of bones to throw out for the conspiracy theorists:
1) Interesting that the date given for this event, May 20, is the day that the U.S. government raised the terror alert level to 'orange', the second highest level.
2)The "Zeta's" particularly warn that "the placid waters of the coastlines" will be dangerous. The terror warning by the government includes an explicit warning to stay away from beaches this weekend.
3)Within the last 72 hours two high level members of the U.S. government establishment, the White House press secretary and the head of the EPA, announced their retirement to "spend more time with my family". Hmmm, sounds familiar. Or maybe move to a safer location?

Further food for thought:
This 'pole shift' is to occur because of the Atlantic Rift.
How large a stretch of the imagination would it take to say we have ALREADY experienced a 'polar shift' and an 'Atlantic rift' in the political world? The North ATLANTIC Treaty Organization has certainly 'rifted' into 'polar' opposition.

Could this pole shift be a major 'pole-itical' shift? A veiled warning of war on a worldwide scale? Or maybe something even more terrifying?

Planet X is approaching from "beneath the Sun and a tad to the right"? Hasn't the SUN always been symbolic of the seat of POWER? Isn't 'the right', from a political standpoint, where most of the 'hawks' reside?

Just something to chew on while we wait for the end of the world as we know it.

More to chew on!

The Sun will rise and set about 2.43 hours differently.
2+4+3=9= Mars energy

5.9 days to pole shift.
5+9=14
Linda says in STAR SIGNS:
"14 warns of danger from accidents related to natural elements, i.e.: fire, flood, earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, tempests, and so forth.....There is risk involved in depending on the word of those who misrepresent a situation."

Does that apply to this situation? Hmmmmmm...

We should be skeptic, but then again we should also be mindful, even if its bogus. So I guess all we can do is wait, see, and act when the days pass by.

There's a fantastic Canadian film called "Last Night", directed by Don McKellar, that shows the last evening in a city three months after a cataclysm has been announced... Sarah Polley and David Cronenberg are in it, just brilliant, although it's an arthouse film and maybe not that available outside Canada.

4.9 days to go... how are you spending it

Latex Mercy I`ll keep my eye on the nightly news for you! Yes, Edgar Cayce as well as Ruth Montgomery predicted a pole shift (I`m sure others too).

Natural 'shrooms at the local store? Are you kidding?

Science has of course rebuffed the legitimacy of the zeta event; I just thought it interesting to hear how knowflakes would spend their last days roaming Mother Earth.

a pole shift isnt compeltely improbable - but if it was going to be anything it'd be a shift in the magnetic poles which would really be a totally different thing.

Yeah, it's CYA time for sure. Can't get over the accusation the government was somehow involved. Anyone ever hear any announcement by a government source about planet X? I haven't seen anything in the press about the alleged event either.

If it was visible at noon near the Sun, there would have been reports and I haven't heard anything about that either.

Sounds like another hoax or the wild imaginings of one who flew out of the Kook's nest. Sad thing is that there were some who were frightened.

Well according to that article we should all be toast by now ... forgive my Saturnian sarcasm but I was looking forwards to "getting the hell out of here".

*sigh*

Oh by the way? Has anyone heard that song by Chris Cornell called "Preaching the End of the World?"
