i was wondering if anyone knows what different moons mean.. i mean for example i know that a red moon means "bad" or danger. but the other day i saw a really fantastic moon! it was a full moon and around it a large circle of sky and then all around clouds. it was like the clouds had made this perfect opening of a circle so that i (the southern hemisphere ) could see the moon. does this mean anything or just a really cool thing to see? ------------------ " I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times, in life after life, in age after age, forever." ~Rabindranath Tagore~ ~sigh~ IP: Logged |

I don`t know what it means, sorry, but the moon has certainly been gorgeous lately here in NW MI. juniperb IP: Logged |

Farmer's almanacs are a good resource -- they associate different moons with different weather, events, and omens. They're quite entertaining and sometimes factual! You can often find them in secondhand bookstores.Lunargirl IP: Logged |
