Hunter is 4 and he went to an integrated preschool last year here in Los Angeles. We'd planned to have him go to the same school this year for another year of preschool but it seems we may very quickly and abruptly be moving back to New York.

We'll be staying with in-laws in a house in Brooklyn for a couple months until we can find an apartment. Possibly until Christmas or so. SOOOO... although I dread the idea of schools in Brooklyn... I am hoping beyond hope that someone here would know of a good school in the Brooklyn area that has these types of integrated preschool programs.

By integrated I mean Special Ed and 'typical' kids in one class room. Hunter has a speech delay but he CAN'T go into a strictly special ed class.

Once we find an apartment (we'll be looking in Jersey probably because it's cheaper there) we'll need to find another school but the Brooklyn area is more immediate right now. Anyone know how I go about looking for a new school? Where to start? Hunter's my only child and I've never done this before
