Not much labor going on, though.

Backatcha Randall

Labor is the word of the day here. We`ve got 3 more cords of wood to get in yet then a big dinner with fresh smoked ham & other goodies, a bonfire & celebration with watermelon booze to to mark the end of harvest & summer.

Mmmmh, fresh homemade yeast-risen bread . . . I love that smell coming from the oven. There is nothing in the world like it.

Hey, lotsa labor going on here..hehe
I've been painting all day, my bedroom actually, and now it's a pleasing pleasant lavendar!
So, no celebration, other than me learning I got the part-time job I interviewed for , but I'd sure love to join you guys at juniperbs....I'll bring the jello salad and apple pie.

Lavendar is my favorite shade

Yay apple pie . Breads in the oven and the aroma says it all. I`m soooo hungry.

You know, a rotisserie (sp). A rotating thingee over the fire. Bastes itself in it's own juices, and its ever so yummy!

Mmm...rotisserie.. You mean the real thing, not the "Set it and forget it" thing?

Great, lioneye, jwhop and juniperb should all cook at a LL convention. What do you think, Randall?

A tad bit of a headache this a.m.... has to be the late hour kept, surely not the watermelon blitz

Missed ya`ll and there`s always next year. Sure Oxy, I`ll cook, but it needs to be pot luck so I can sample all the knowflakes dishs.

Ah, I love food on the spit; sadly, my BBQ`er & spit wore out last year & hasn`t been replaced. I`ve been settling for the old smoker instead.

Have a good work week
